They both say front but I assume that means the arrow should point to front of bike and these are good for front or back location ?

How many pairs comes?? And also is it works for the rare wheel??

It comes with four pads- 2 for front/ 2 for back. Yes, it works for rear tire as well. Very easy to install.

are these compatible with aluminum rims ?

They appear to be. I have aluminum rims.

Will these fit 2" originals?

Depends. Pad length is 2” and width is 1/2”; then post length is 1 1/8”. I bought these thinking they would be a straight exchange, but the original pad post length was 1”.
