Isn't it misleading to state that this is made of 1500ct cotton thread, when it's a processed material called "microfiber"?

If you order them the paper insert in the zippered pouch they are in says "1800 Thread Count 100% Egyptian Cotton". Then on the tags on the sheets it doesn't say what their made of OR where they're made! Total bootleg BS. I'm reporting them to Amazon.

What’s the real thread count?

There is NOT a thread count when it's made from polyester as this is. This ad is a lie and should be taken down as the false advertising that it is. (the original PKG. itself should contain the truth) Microfiber = polyester. This product contains 0% cotton.

The label on the packaging says 100% Egyptian cotton. The description on amazon says microfiber, which is by definition, synthetic. So which is it?

It says on the front of the pkg that it is 100% Egyptian cotton but on the back of the pkg in tiny print it says 100% polyester made in China. Although they do feel like very nice microfiber.
