Bow Balance Stirrup Stainless Steel

These stirrups are fantastic. After 42 years of riding and sore knees and hips, these bring so much relief. They are better than the other rubber jointed generic ones because they are much lighter. After riding them in my cc saddle, I can’t stand the thought of not having them on my dressage saddle, so I will be buying one more set.

My trainer recommended a wider tread stirrup to give my feet a bit more stability. These work brilliantly. In fact, my leg and foot were so still my horse was confused for most of one ride because my legs and feet were not constantly moving. We are now working quite effectively on leg yields, thus allowing me to work on keeping my hands still. I have also dropped my stirrups far less--and the one time I did lose a stirrup completely it was easy to pick up again on the move. An added bonus is that my knees hurt less. The only cautionary tale is that you must lift your foot to remove them from the stirrup. Failing to do so while dismounting will result in a less than graceful dismount. Thank God for calm horses. Yes, they are pricey. Yes, they are worth it.

Great stirrups! I’m using them for dressage and they are very comfortable.

Worth the investment! I was t sure they would make a difference, but they provide me with the flex ion to keep my heels down and prevent them from slipping out.

Takes so much of the leg pressure off!

I've returned these as they hurt my feet terribly and I did not find them helpful. Waiting for a refund. I gave them three stars as I believe they are made well but didn't try them more then a handful of times. My feet couldn't take it.
