Drill a 3/4" mounting hole, works good
Worked good, installed in 3/4" wood panel. Used a 3/4" spade bit to drill mounting hole, fit snug but it fit.

Reliable, Waterproof, and Looks Great – Perfect for Marine Use!
I used the DaierTek 12V Waterproof Round Rocker Switches to wire up a Minn Kota heading sensor on my boat, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. These switches are exactly what I was looking for—compact, durable, and totally weatherproof. The install was straightforward, and the 3-pin design made wiring clean and efficient. The blue LED illumination looks sharp and makes it easy to tell when the switch is active, even in low light. It adds a professional touch to the control panel without being overly bright or distracting. Most importantly, it’s UL listed and built to handle the marine environment. The switches feel solid when toggled—no flimsy or cheap action here. I’ve got a few extras from the 5-pack that I plan to use for future upgrades on my boat and RV. If you’re doing any 12V marine or automotive wiring, these are a reliable and great-looking choice. Highly recommended!

Economical and clean install!
Installation is a bit tricky. Switch is held in by an integral clip on the back and sealed by a thin rubber ‘boot’ (see picture). The boot needs an accurately cut hole to seal while the clip requires some elongation to fit in.I needed a second try to get it just right but in the end it looks great, the switch lights blue when on so it is easy to recognize it is on in daylight and not leave running down the battery.
