Can anybody tell me what parts i need to complete this? i am new. i have no idea what servo or controller to buy. specific parts and brands please???

Hello Antonio and welcome to this fun hobby. Yes, for this kit you will need some additional items to complete the assembly and drive the car. First, you will need a radio (or remote) control system made up of a transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx). For this model, you will need a 2 channel Tx and Rx. Each channel is used to operate a function on the car, in this case steering (Channel 1) and throttle (Channel 2). There are many brands and models to choose from. I'm not affiliated with one brand in my store but Futaba, Spektrum, FlySky, Corally, and Carisma are a few popular brand names. Each brand carries product lines for the beginner through to professional with options, features, and prices for every level of user. Your transmitter will require batteries usually 4 to 6 AA batteries in the beginner model transmitters. Second, this model requires 1 servo that will plug in to the Rx to control steering. Again, there are many brands and features (speed, torque, metal-gears, waterproof, etc...) to choose from. This model requires a standard size servo and as far as features, a basic servo is fine. Futaba is one brand that provides a good quality servo for the price. Third, you will need a drive battery and compatible charger to power the electric motor in the car. For this particular model, it is recommended to use NiCd, NiMH, or LiFe batteries only. The electronic speed control (ESC) that comes with this car does not provide a low voltage cut-off for LiPO batteries so one can not use a LiPO battery unless you replace the stock ESC with an appropriate ESC. As you can guess, battery and charger options are many. A basic 6-cell 7.2Volt NiMH battery with a high milliampere-hour (mAh) capacity will provide a good balance of fun and cost. Finally, you will need rc body (i.e. lexan) paint for the body. The body shell for this kit comes clear and you can paint the inside of the body shell with the color and style of your choosing. Tamiya carries a wide choice of colors but there are other brands such as Proline, Duratrax, and Pactra to name just a few. A single color spray on paint is the quickest and easiest method to paint the body. Depending on your experience with model building, your paint job can go from mild-to-wild. And, if you become tired of the color, you can always buy another body and create a new paint scheme and switch the bodies as you please. Tamiya makes a great product and their kits provide a wide range of tuning options. As you become more comfortable with the hobby, you can upgrade many aspects of this car. The motor, the ESC, gearing, wheels, tires, suspension, etc to fit your need for speed and performance. This is a quick answer to your question and I hope it helps.
