Easy to install
Easy to install, although the drill bit could be a bit deeper.

Sporadically works
Not terribly reliable, and I often have to pull my case off to get it to charge. It then blinks on and off charging pretty frequently. I regret drilling a hole through my desktop for this, and will be trying to find a different brand to install.

Cheap in more ways than one, but still a good buy
There is no doubt that this is a very cheap product, but it gets the job done with reasonable aesthetics. Be sure to read the specifications though. This charger has half the wattage of other wireless chargers on the market, so it is noticeably slower. But for a convenient charge while you’re sitting at your desk, this is all you’ll need. Added bonus that it comes with the core drill bit necessary for install.

Works well if you are careful installing it
Unit works well and is pretty easy to install. It charges phone through its lather case. When installing make sure not to overtighten the metal clamp or it will pull the plastic cap off of the surface plate. There is also a little ring of adhesive around the plate. Remove the white backing before mounting.,

If something goes bad I will update this
Installed it a few minutes ago next to my keyboard. it has a glossy finish with a qi logo in the middle. It works well under a leather desk cover from nekmit (it's a really thin one). If something goes bad I will update this.

Charger overheats
The charger overheats every time I use it. It's difficult to get the charger to make the connection to wireless charge (very sensitive to the exact location of the MagSafe wireless contact point on an iPhone 12 pro). It normally detects the phone and the phone will show it's charging but waiting about 30 more seconds, the phone then shows it's no longer charging. When it does make a connection for wireless charging, the device gets very very hot. I don't trust this product in my home. I already drilled a hole in my nightstand and I'm not going to use this any more. Waste of money. Best part about this product is the hole saw bit that comes with it.

Won’t charge new devices
This won’t even maintain charges on newer iPhones and Android devices. Look for something else.
