I bought this powder for my PCOS issues and infertility after discovering it from my endless online research regarding PCOS and weight gain. I had no expectations but I was hoping it would control my weight if nothing else. A bit of background on me, I have hypothyroidism, PCOS, and I'm pre-diabetic on Metformin. We started trying to conceive in 2014 with no luck, I started gaining a lot of weight unexpectedly i peaked at 230 pounds, and I stopped having periods that year. In 2015 my doc sent me to a fertility clinic to check out what was going on. They discovered my PCOS and my pre-diabetic condition. So the clinic got my period back with progesterone and then put me on the meds to grow follicles and eventually ovulate, plus they put me on metformin to control my blood sugars. I got pregnant in April 2014 and miscarried at 8 weeks, then continued with the treatment until November 2015 with no luck and gave up. I was under a lot of stress, had lost my job that year and the cost of the clinic was too much. My husband and I took time off from life and moved to Ecuador for 6 months in March 2016. Here in Ecuador the lifestyle is very healthy and laid back. I was eating all organic, and walking a lot because we didn't have a car. I managed to lose 15 pounds in 4 months and I kept it off. All the inflammation in my body subsided and I was starting to look normal again, however I was still not ovulating. I was getting my periods on time but I was not ovulating. We were planning to return back to Canada in September so I started stressing about weight gain and my symptoms coming back because It's a sedentary lifestyle here. I then started googling like crazy and came upon Inositol. I had nothing to lose by trying it so as soon as we landed in Canada on Sept 12 I ordered it from Amazon. It arrived a week or so later and I started with 1/4 tsp morning AND night for about 2 weeks, then I upped it to 1/2 tsp morning AND night. October I had my period as normal and I noticed no cramping, and I ovulated for the first time in years on my own! I could tell because it was really really noticeable and I had never seen it before like this. 2 weeks ago I was late getting my period and I was getting worried that maybe I was taking too much Inositol and maybe it was messing me up. My ovaries had been twitching like crazy since my last period. I took a preg test and it came fast and dark blue... positive! I was in disbelief, I still am. I've gotten it confirmed by my family doctor last week and they dated it at 6 weeks....I'm now 7 weeks and I can still feel my ovaries twitching every now and then. I'm stunned that the Inositol worked so fast, I had only been taking it for just over 3 weeks when I ovulated for the first time. I don't know exactly how it works but I understand that it balances out hormones. Other than getting me pregnant, It took away my period cramps and it is maintaining my weight which I'm happy about. I got weighed at my doc last month and I was at 210 pounds! I'm still taking it and I will continue to take it. Nothing has worked like this miracle powder has and I am still in disbelief! I would say to try it as you have nothing to lose. As for my pregnancy we are waiting to see if It sticks past 12 weeks or not....

I am so thankful I found this product. I have been taking it for a little over a month and have experienced numerous life-changing benefits. I'm still in shock at what this is doing for me.I have many health issues: Hashimotos disorder, PCOS, severe depression, and anxiety. I have been seeing Doctors for years, and at the end of my appointments I'd always feel even more hopeless. I never really got the help that I needed. I've been on so many terrible prescription medications that have ended up giving me even MORE health problems. After about three years I had gained about 80 pounds (from pcos and inability to lose the weight no matter how hard I try; I even went raw vegan for a year and no change), my depression and anxiety even worse, my energy was non-existent, etc. My life has been a struggle the last few years. I am optimistic that these benefits will continue, but I'm trying not to get too greedy haha. I'm just so thankful I came across it.There is no promise any specific cure, what is happening with me may not happen with everyone, but even my husband who has been taking it for about 3 weeks feels an immense increase in his energy and mood. Everyone should try it! : )One warning: When I first started taking the powder I was taking a lot more than the serving suggestion because that is what I had read that some people do to get better results. Well, after about 2 weeks I started noticing that I was getting a VERY upset stomach. I'll spare you the details, but there was no way I could deal with that if I had to leave the house. I did some research and found that if you get an upset stomach that you either need to take a little break, or take a little less. What I did was I took about 5 days off then decided to just take the 1/4 teaspoon in the morning in my big water bottle. I'm still having great results, and maybe in a week or two I'll add an additional 1/4 tsp in the evening.

I have been taking this brand inositol for one month. I mix 4000mg in water with 100mg DCI daily. There is no taste at all and the mix is very easy to drink down. (Also taking Vitex 1x daily to balance hormones & drinking spearmint tea 1-2x daily to lower testosterone). My main symptom of PCOS is high testosterone causing cystic acne around my jaw line and neck area. I have been on spironolactone in the past, which did help breakouts. When I wanted to start trying to conceive I had to get off spiro due to potential for birth defects. I have to say the supplements I have been taking have worked far better than spiro ever did. Since adding inositol one month ago the cysts on my neck have disappeared 98%. I do still experience some breakout on my neck and jaw line, but NO cysts. Additionally I have received a positive ovulation test since being on inositol. I measure out my servings to reach the recommended 4000mg (1/4tsp= 600mg). There are other products that have the recommended dosage in capsule form but this powder is more affordable. Since purchasing this product I have come across a brand that has the recommended myo inositol/Dci dosage premixed that I may try when it is time for me to reorder.
