I bought this as a treasure box for my son and he absolutely loves it. It looks really cool and feels special, which makes it fun for kids to use. The lock is a little difficult to open and close, so I do have to help him lock it, but that is the only downside. Other than that, it is a really neat treasure box and has been a big hit in our house. I would definitely recommend it for imaginative play or storing special treasures.

Made of wood and metal this chest is seriously cool. It’s handmade, sturdy, and good size. I love the heavy lock and keys. Good quality for the price. It’d be great for a gift or for yourself. I use it as a treasure chest of knickknacks and memories. Worth it!

I just got my pirate treasure chest. It is a nice lookin box. Well made. Very sturdy. I got the lock and comes with two skeleton keys. I ordered on Thursday and got it on Friday. Thanks

It's a bit pricey, however, I really like the look and feel of it. While I wouldn't recommend stacking gold dubloons in there, it's more than sturdy enough for the knick-knacks I do put in there.

Really cool item! It's probably intended for kids but it's absolutely not a toy. Well made and the wood and metal touches are nice. The padlock is a bit tricky to use but it goes great with it, although the color is black and the one in the picture looks more worn which is what I'd prefer. It's one of those items though that you'd want to choose between a few to pick 'just the right one' 4.5 stars

Gorgeous, and perfect size to sit on my dresser. I BOUGHT THE midsize, its plenty big to hold all my jewlery, including another plastic case with 30 individual cases in it to hold each if my gauges.

Has arrived without the iron lock and skeleton keys! My son is obsessed with padlocks and keys so it’s pretty integral to the gift. UPS import from America means that I can’t take the time to return it to a UPS drop off location and then risk another arriving too late for my 6 year olds birthday. The replacement may also arrive without the lock and key. I now have to buy a separate lock and keys for £15. Not impressed!
