Hestan Nanobond is a great skillet
Hestan Nanobond is excellent. I treat mine like royalty and treats me the same in kind:

Heavy pitting after first use and no customer support
We purchased an entire set of nanobond pots and pans. To warrant the $2k or so expense we figured they would be a set that would last a lifetime and be a healthier alternative to traditional and much less expensive stainless steel pots. To our dismay, the pots became heavily potted and stained after the first use doing basic cooking. It happened to several pots, not just one. Soap and scrubbing would not remove it. The only thing that seemed to help was the sample cleaner that Hestan provided with one of the pots which is full of harsh chemicals. Using it to fix stains after each use defeated the purpose of us seeking a healthier alternative to stainless steel as a certain amount of residue would be likely to find it's way into our food. I contacted Hestan and received a reply via email instructing me their support was severely backed up and I would not receive a response for three weeks. Convenient for them cause this would run out my return period and leave me stuck with defective sets that I paid an arm and a leg for. Three weeks passed and there was no response. I followed up several times and still no response. We are now entering week five, no response and I'm stuck with these defective products. When you pay this much for pots and pans you expect to set that would not stain like this after the first use and at least a support that would match the price tag. I received neither of these and am very frustrated with the purchase. It's a beautiful set but the titanium branding is quite misleading as it does not stand up to basic cooking tasks and customer support is non existent. Buyers beware.

The best pans
I e had almost every brand of pot/pan over the last 35 years. These days, I take Tefal nonstick with the detachable handles to do most of my duty for quick meals for the kids. However, I was drawn back to steel pans to be able to get a proper browning on meats and fish. My last three brands I’ve owned All Clad, Fissler and now Hestan, there is not much comparison when it comes to the details. Hestan is really just that little bit better in every area. I can still do perfectly well with the others, but especially these nanobond pans really have the nice advantage of temperature control, not too heavy, easy to manipulate, super smooth surface (not nonstick) which makes it easy to cook with and easy to clean, as well as just looking nice. I’ve only had them for a few months, but I can already tell they’re going to be with me for a while. If you’re not super price sensitive, I would suggest to start with the induction combo to be really impressed.

LOVE my nanobond pan!
Get the 11” for sure. The 8” is far too small for anything meaningful and you’ll want to move most of your cooking to the 11” pan to get the best bang for your buck. With a bit of oil, even eggs are easy to cook. If something gets stuck on when frying, it comes off pretty easily with a quick soak or immediately with a wooden pot scraper.Vinegar (don’t work but use a vinegar dilute and wipe off quickly) has done the trick to get my pan to shine like new again. I know people complain about it not cleaning up perfectly — either use vinegar, lemon, or their cleaning product and you’ll be fine.Regarding the price point, I pay this amount happily assuming I can use it for a lifetime and not worry about forever chemicals from a cheap nonstick pan wrecking havoc in my body.

Hestan, where have you been all of my life???
Oh. My. Goodness. SERIOUSLY!! I had been a snobby stainless steel All-Clad user for so many years - D3, D5, had it all. Got rid of it all when Hestan came into my life. If you told me that I could find something that cooks better than All-Clad, I'd have said you were nuts. When my beloved All-Clad started separating and creating razor-sharp edges, (I was so tired of cutting my fingers every time I'd wash the dishes.) I knew it was time to part ways.I started my research and came across Hestan NanoBond. Wow. Wow. Wow!!! Not only does it cook better, clean up better and look better, I can put it in the dishwasher without fear of delaminating. That's their guarantee!I don't like using traditional non-stick pans so that type was never an option for me. These amazing NanoBond pans aren't non-stick, so to speak, but they sure do behave like non-stick! Are they pricey? Super pricey. Are they worth it? YES!!! Save your pennies (and nickels, dimes and quarters) for these pans. You'll be thrilled that you did!

Verdict: Avoid
I purchased the Hestan NanoBond 11-inch frying pan expecting exceptional quality based on the premium price point and marketing claims about superior construction and durability. Unfortunately, my experience has been deeply disappointing. After limited use with proper care, the pan has developed significant warping - the center of the cooking surface has risen higher than the edges. This creates a dome effect where oil pools around the perimeter instead of staying evenly distributed. For a pan marketed as professional-grade and "titanium stainless steel," this type of structural failure is unacceptable. The warping makes it nearly impossible to properly cook foods that require even oil distribution or heat. Eggs slide to the edges, pancakes cook unevenly, and searing becomes problematic. This performance issue essentially defeats the purpose of investing in high-end cookware.Given the substantial investment and Hestan's claims about their NanoBond technology, I expected this pan to maintain its shape and perform flawlessly for years. Instead, it's functioning worse than budget cookware despite following all care instructions.I cannot recommend this product based on my experience, especially considering the premium price. Potential buyers should consider alternatives that maintain their structural integrity over time.
