I have purchased two of these now. I bought one (silver 6") for myself, which I've had many months now. I love it so much I just bought a second one (gold 6") as a gift. I love that it has two hanging options, the macrame or chain plus the acrylic ring to use it on a tabletop. The opening for the plant on the 6" is quite small, between 3-4 inches, so if you want this for a bigger plant you'll need a bigger size. I love how the mirrors catch the sun and send sparkles all over my walls and ceiling, and how it shines even without sun. The little planter that sits in the disco ball has wide slats for drainage and a wide rim so it's easy to take out and put back in when watering. Personally, I never water the plant in the ball. I take the planter out one day a week and water my plant in a bowl, then let it drain before putting it back in the disco ball so it won't get mildew inside. I haven't had issues with the mirrors falling off the way others have mentioned. All my mirrors still look great. I don't really touch or mess with the mirrors and I don't let water sit in the ball. I don't know if these factors are relevant to that or not. Also, my planter is hanging in a living room (not a humid bathroom) and it only gets some direct gentle morning light. Otherwise it's more shaded. Very happy with this purchase. I have bought it again and would recommend it.

This planter is a lot of fun, but don't out English ivy in it. They don't drink the water fast enough with makes the automatic water feature useless. They just get over watered.

Great product! It comes with 2 different options for hanging; a chain or macrame rope, and 1 option to set on table or shelf rather than hanging. It also came with replacement disco ball glass squares, and self watering option.
