Very customizable, well made great transparent overdrive
This pedal is sturdy, well built and has a great light to crunchy "transparent" sounding overdrive to it. There are actually four "knob" controls in total - the one on top (gain) and three internal pots for bass, treble and volume. It's possible some may be turned off by tone and volume controls you can't readily get to when playing, but as a player who likes to dial in my sound and leave it, it's perfect. Less knobs to get bumped around and mess up a perfect sound. I cannot compare this to the pedal it claims to clone (Paul Cochrane Timmy), but I did play a Danelectro Cool Cat CTO-1 Transparent Overdrive for many years (a pedal called out for copying the Timmy, so much so that they abandoned the version and made a CTO Version 2). I can get very similar tones out of this to the CTO-1 thanks to the wide amount of customization with the internal trim pots. I bought this as a "mini-pedal board" backup for my CTO-1 and I'm really happy with it.

Bad quality control
Unit sounds good but only works with one of my patch cords in the input jack the others ground out on the output side.

Great transparent overdrive/distortion !
This pedal is supposed to be based on a famous pedal called the Timmy. I've never played the Timmy but if you are looking for a pretty transparent overdrive/distortion mini pedal this is a good choice. The internal pots for treble , bass , and volume have a lot of range to work with your amp. There is a lot of volume on tap if you wanted to really jump out of the mix. I set the gain half way and worked the internal knobs (use a small flat head screwdriver) until it sounded like I wanted it (even volume) then as I raise the gain the volume is just the right bump up above my clean sound. If you are constantly turning knobs the pedal might not be for you because of the pots being in the pedal. But this overdrive sounds really, really good with less of the mid hump like a TS type overdrive with no loss of bass or treble. This pedal punches way over it price range.

Killer overdrive!!
What a fantastic sounding overdrive for Fender amps. Great warm crunch. I kinda never want to shut it off. I gig with it on a "mini" board for smaller stages. It loves my Fender Vibroverb. Great tone

Excellent effect! works very good
Excellent effect! works very good. sounds great. takes up very little real estate on pedal board. A must have effect. It's a clearer and more articulate sounding over drive. Thanks! Worth the wait to get one.
