The item fits perfect/ car cover

I only use it sparingly when the top is off the jeep and I don’t want to put it back on before a storm. Jeep wakes up mostly dry, most of the time.

I would give a minus 5 but can’t.I put this cover on my VW GTI with a gel coated carbon fiber front clip. It rained and then sun came out.When I removed the cover it had secreted some kind of substance that put big clouds in gel coat. Wouldn’t buff out so had to wet sand and ended up that it fowled the gel to the carbo fiber. I was forced to buy a new $1400 hood.Spend the $200 on a US made cover.

It fits well and is relatively easy for one person to pull over a dry car. My only complaint is that it only lasted 2 years. The sun seems to damaged it to the point where any tension creates a tear. We live in the southern US, so sun damage is typical with cheap lawn furniture or outdoor stuff. But it should last longer than 2 years.

My situation:I'm the southeast US and have a 2020 BMW X1.My problem:I park in my driveway and there's a crepe myrtle tree over my car. I got tired of washing my car and then dealing with all the flower petals, seeds, bark, etc. that land on my car.Also, my car gets super hot during the day.The solution:This cover's job was to keep my car clean and cool. Basically a mini-garage of sorts.So far, it's been great for the month I've used it.Fit/Logistics:It came with a storage bag but I don't use it. I might, just haven't needed it yet.I had to figure out a way to fold it so I could orient it on the top of my car, unfurl it, and have it be close to where I need it to be. I have a nice little system now. Hint: use the big door zipper as your primary alignment key.My car fits pretty snug under this cover. the elastic gathering is right at the bottom, all the way around and holds tight, even in strong thunderstorms. It seems water-proof as well.The first time I used it, the plastic buckle broke on one of the straps. I haven't used it since. The cover doesn't shift much so I will either fix it or cut them off.It's fairly bulky to store. It's like a big tarp, the material is a little stiff/thick. I just roll it up in a loose ball and throw it in my trunk.. then put back on when I get home. If I need my trunk, I just throw in the garage on another car's trunk. If I had to be neater, I would compress it smaller and put it in its bag, then hang it on a hook in the garage. But I don't need to be that neat in my situation.I have no hesitation recommending this to other X1 owners. I think it'd fit on several small SUV's. This one is perfect for my car and situation.
