flat... a mallet is about all you need.

Q: Am I reading this correctly - I would be able to put my 16-17" tall computer on the lower shelf?

Yes. It is 18 inches from the bottom shelf to the middle shelf.

Q: Does this shelf wobble at all? I am looking for a 3D printer cart. Will this hold 60 lbs?

It will definitely hold a 3D printer. I got it for this purpose and it's perfect. I have a fairly large, Dremel 3D40 on the top shelf and then tools and filament on the lower shelves. It's not wobbly at all and will hold far more than 60lbs.

Q: How do you adjust the top shelf height? Can it be set to heights anywhere between 32-41"?

It comes with 2 different size round tubes to put between the shelves on all 4 corners. The lengths are 8.5" and 14". The total height using the 8.5" tubes is approx. 35".
