Olympia 410-763 1/4in. x 25 ft. ELECTRIC Drain Cleaner

Machine is very sturdy andvdoes its job. The forward, recers, neutral feature on the handle is like driving a car. For being over 60 y/o its a bit heavy for me but I improvise. Its easy to work with; easy to clean. Only a few design recs. The light it has, is very weak so you do need your own light; instructions on use need to be clearer than they are re use of R/L. Any markings on the esterior of the machine should be colored white on black...to make it easier toremember which way to turn the corredponding part. It has a long elextrical wire which is geat. The snake (with a bit of guidance) feeds itself into the drum as expected when pressing the button. I really liked it and would recommend buyong it, instead of the cheap manual ones in the market for an intermediate to large drainage problem.

I have used the Olympia 410-763 electric drain cleaner several times now and it has been a surprisingly good small drain power snake. It's a bit heavy and the forward chuck to lock it down from advancing is a bit over complicated. Still though, it works well for my needs.We will see how long it last's between jobs.

We were reluctant to purchase this auger with the amount of mixed reviews but we are glad we did. We have been struggling with a bathroom sink drain clog for weeks. Used numerous drain cleaners, plungers and mechanical drain auger and all we could get is a slow draining sink that would not empty completely. We purchased this electric drain auger and per previous review recommendations we read and followed the instructions along with watching numerous videos on the use of this product. It took two tries and 20 minutes to completely unclog this sink (first time we went up the vent pipe). The sink has never drained this well!

It’s just ok thought it was a stronger machine

Half the time you buy tools and they don't live up to expectations, this tool exceeded it. I had a clog that I could not get out for weeks. The clog was deep, water would run for 30 seconds before the sink would start to fill up. I bought the tool and within 2 minutes I had the clock cleared.

The auto feed simply doesnt work. Whats worse is that you cant even feed it with hand. So you will snake for hour only to find that it got stuck at 2 feet. There is no way to find how much snake has been fed into the clean out. Overall the hand held, hand cranked 25$ tool at home depot might be a better choice than this expensive, over promising tool.

It is a very good tool. It's easy to use and at a very good price.
