Morrisons 2 Scottish Salmon Fillets: A Fine Catch for the Kitchen
Och aye, these Morrisons Scottish Salmon Fillets caught ma eye quicker than a Highland stag on a misty morning. Fresh as a loch breeze and pink as a lassie's cheek, they looked like they’d been plucked straight from the waters o' Scotland herself. Naturally, I grabbed a pack, dreaming of a dinner worthy o' Rabbie Burns’ poetic praise. When I got them home, the fillets were firm, bonnie, and glistening with promise. I decided tae cook them wi' a wee drizzle o’ lemon and a sprig o’ thyme (because thyme’s a grand herb for salmon, ken?). As they sizzled away, the kitchen filled wi' an aroma so divine, I half-expected a piper to burst in and start playin’. Achem... Right, well, I should probably come clean. I’m not actually Scottish. Born and bred in England, but, well, who can resist a bit o’ flair when talking about Scottish salmon, eh? Back to the fish! These fillets cooked up beautifully—moist, flaky, and packed wi' flavour. The texture was spot on: tender but meaty enough to stand up tae the pan. Whether roasted, grilled, or fried, they deliver every time. And while I’m nae expert in Highland cuisine, I reckon these would hold their own at any Burns Night supper. Review: Pros: Fresh and Flavourful: The fillets taste clean and rich, with that unmistakable buttery goodness only top-notch salmon can offer. Perfect Size: At 220g, the two fillets are just the right portion for a hearty meal or a fancy dinner for two. Versatile: Grill them, bake them, or toss them in a creamy pasta dish—these fillets adapt tae any recipe. Scottish Pride: A taste of the Highlands in every bite (even if I’m enjoying them south o' the border). Cons: Not Cheap: Quality comes at a wee premium, but it’s worth every penny for the taste. Requires Attention: Like any good salmon, they cook quickly, so keep an eye on them tae avoid overcooking. Final Thoughts: Whether yer Scottish or just dreaming o' the Highlands (like me), these Morrisons Scottish Salmon Fillets are a braw addition tae any meal. They’re fresh, delicious, and versatile enough tae make anyone feel like a master chef—even if yer accent’s more “Yorkshire tea” than “Scotch whisky.” Would I recommend them? Och aye! 5 stars—for freshness, flavour, and the chance tae channel yer inner Highlander while cooking. Bonus tip: Pair wi' tatties and a dram o’ whisky for the full experience. Slàinte! Or, uh, cheers! 😊

Tasty but a bit expensive
I'd buy tons if it's more affordable. I use it for fish stew or grill with some asparagus. Lovely quality. Yummy.

Bland and Poor Quality
No flavour at all, super bland. Seems Like very poor quality. The skin was the best part of the fish.

Looked dark and rich. Tasted dull.
Expensive and had a rich dark colour. But portions were small and tasted dull and full of additives. Fishy yes but not of salmon. Had a strong after taste. I appreciate farmed salmon can taste different but this just wasn’t nice. I’ve tasted better and cheaper frozen
