Has anyone used this with a maine coon?

I use it on my Persian cat. He is not very tolerant of grooming in general but loves this tool. Actually purrs. Doesn’t pull at the hair and works just as well as a furminator for the molting times. Definitely recommend it. Also use it on my British long hair but she loves any kind of grooming so she is not a good example as would probably be quite happy with a broom. Lol

Can u use this on an american akita

Yes, works amazingly well on all shedding dogs with double coats. No tugging and just removes shedding hair, not healthy hair like furminators do as the cut the hair.

Could this be used on a Belgian Malinois?

Yes! Great on German Shepherd, Alsatian type cost and hair!

Is it suitable to use on a cockapoo?

The Equigroomer isn't suitable for a cockapoos coat. They are suitable for short smooth coated breeds to help remove shedding and loose hair.
