Daron Worldwide Trading Postage Stamp UH-1 Huey MEDEVAC US Army Vehicle (1/87 Scale)

Very well made ,solid die-cast and heavy ! Excellent finish ,perfect in every respect.

The Postage Stamp series are pretty good entry level collector die-cast models of some famous warbirds. UH-1 Huey helicopter comes from the same die-cast molds as the other models in the series, good panel details and mostly correct parts. For some reason, this unarmed DUSTOFF UH-1A still has the side mounts found on the Gunship Hueys. Regardless, this does not detract from the model. Greenhouse windows are green, but interior is not painted, a small detail which would add to the model. As the bulk of the fuselage is die-cast, no seams or screws to worry in the overall look.

I like this model because you can detach the main rotor/blade. I used this product for a model in my collection and it looks really nice.

Box came in good condition. There's 1 piece missing and it's the tail propeller. I double checked it didn't feel when I open it or the other box that came.

I bought this for my 3 year old as a toy. The quality is great but anything not metal was broken off in one day. He’s not crazy or rough but dropped it a few times. Cool helicopter but just not as a toy for young kids

This item will stay on my desk to remind me of a time in my past that still influences me today. It’s small and well made. Fits perfectly on a crowded work space. A must for all Vietnam veterans and very special for those who strapped in everyday.

Be gentle there are delicate items on the model which can break in the process of unboxing.
