Okay but has some big flaws
It's good for its purpose... at least until the screw hole gets "stripped." Actually that's too generous a word. The screw hole in the truck base has a thin plastic "C" shaped ring that substitutes for threads. All that needs to happen is a child applies too much force while using the screwdriver, and the C shape breaks. Now the screw no longer tightens properly - it just spins.Other things: the black truck "exhaust" stack pipe is awkward, hard to put in, and difficult to work around for a child.The back of the truck opens trivially. Contents just fall out the back when the truck is propelled forward. Try flipping it over (but then truck no longer dumps).All that said, it's a decent toy for teaching basic screwdriver and wrench mechanics, like for occupational therapy purposes, and yeah... no batteries are a win.

More than just a another truck
This truck is lots of fun for my 2.5 year old to take apart and put back together. He can do most of it on his own and is learning how to do more and more of it independently. It's nice that the truck is more than just another toy truck, but can also be played with in the same manner as a regular toy dump truck.I was a little disappointed by the size. We have another similar toy that is about twice the size and I was expecting something similar. My son doesn't seem to mind, though.This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

The truck is a nice size for him
I bought this dump trick as a birthday gift for my no 3 year old grandson. He loves cars and trucks and is very curious about how things work. He quickly figured out how to take it apart but not so quickly how to out it back together. What he enjoys most about the toy is the friction power to make it go. The truck is a nice size for him. Challenging and Fun!
