XtremeVision HID Xenon Replacement Bulbs - D4S / D4R / D4C - 5000K Bright White (1 Pair)

Replaced the headlight bulbs in my Prius with these bulbs. They fit nicely in the headlights just like the OE bulbs. The 5000K color temperature is nice, but the two bulbs don’t match each other. One is a little more yellowish than the other. But more disappointing is how much dimmer they are than the old bulbs. They’re noticeably dimmer, to the point that sometimes I feel uncomfortable driving with them at night. The installation process is pretty involved (Toyota method is to remove the front bumper cover), so unfortunately I didn’t get it completed during the return period. Otherwise, I’d go through the trouble to disassemble the car again and return these bulbs. I give these bulbs 2 stars because they fit just like factory and have a nice color temperature, but otherwise they’re disappointing with lack of brightness and inconsistent color.

Premature failure. Installed both bulbs, after 8 hours of use, one bulb failed. To install these bulbs, half of the front end of the Prius has to be removed. Dealer wants more than $300 to install.

Lights are cool. It took me a minute to figure out how to put them in but now I see how simple it is.

Good bulb that fit, shipped quickly, and works well. I've only been using it for a matter of months and can't speak to longevity, but it's done just fine up to now.

Disappointed, bought the 5k, is exact color as the 4300k that comes with the car. As far as emitting light they are about the same. I’d order the 6k but I’m worried they will be too blue.

Sometimes lights need to be turned on and off for them both to work, but saved a ton of $$
