I was completely happy with it. I did not get a chance to see the inside of the package because it was a gift giveaway and I didn't wanna disrupt the packaging. However it wasn't extremely cheap, however it was much cheaper and affordable than other micro scopes for that age group. It was a gift for A young boy who asked for either a microscope or a telescope or some thing science oriented and I simply wanted to reinforce that. it seemed definitely a decent quality, but it was enough cheaper than some of the other high-quality sets that I felt at ease about buying it for a holiday giveaway even though it was a bit more expensive than just a cheap one. I hope that makes sense. It's not often that I give a gift of this dollar value and a holiday gift giveaway, But for a5 to 7th grader to actually want something like a microscope or a telescope or something "scientific" I took the risk because I wanted to reinforce the child's desire to learn Rather than just a pair of stylish sneakers

Perfect gift for my 8 year old who asked for a microscope. Durable, fun, easy to use but also way better than I thought it would be for the price!

My 7 year old has had so much fun looking at various things with this. It was a great present for her.

The microscope is best used to gauge interest in looking at small items prior to spending additional money on a better item. It is very difficult for children to use without assistance focusing and if your child is easily frustrated this may not be the best item for them. The LED light is dim and has no adjustment

The media could not be loaded. Cheaply made. Bought it for my granddaughter for her birthday. She loves science. She was so disappointed because you cannot get to focus. All the parts are very loose and you cannot adjust the focus, What a disappointment and quiet frankly embarrassing to give as a gift. I understand the quality versus price but I feel like this product is not worth anywhere near $40. It’s not even usable.

I would like to see a "more sturdy" design.My 10yr wasn't interested after seeing the plastic frame!!!
