Herb Pharm Certified Organic Calendula Oil- 1 Ounce

This is calendula oil DILUTED in organic OLIVE OIL,,, it is NOT, nor does it claim to be 100% pure calendula essential oil like some people have mistakenly assumed it was... and then they rated it lower because of THEIR mistake saying the product description was misleading :(. If you READ the ingredients you will SEE it is DILUTED in a CARRIER OIL (in this case, organic olive oil). Buying 100% calendula essential oil would cost a small fortune, but if that's what you want then don't buy this & whine it isn't what you thought it was.That said, this stuff is FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!! It works VERY well for many things from SHINGLES, diaper rash, other rashes, varicose veins, dry skin, chapped / cracked lips, acne, cuts, scrapes, burns, etc. Do BE AWARE that this has an orange-yellow-gold TINGE to it, so it is best applied to the face, lips, etc. when you are STAYING HOME, before bed, etc. I did NOT have an issue with it staining our sheets, etc. Also, if you use this around your eyes, It WILL burn your eyes if if gets into your eyes, just like any oil will.Do keep in mind that you should NOT use this if you are pregnant! While it is safe & natural, there are specific times when even natural things aren't ideal / safe to use. I have used it when nursing & on my nursling too, but not while pregnant. My understanding of the pregnancy contraindication is that because it promotes such rapid healing, & the skin is the largest organ of the body and whatever is applied to the skin goes into the bloodstream very quickly, it would quickly go into an unborn baby, which is best avoided because with all of the development & changes going on in an unborn baby's body, you would not want to use something that could cause something to fuse, form, not form, etc. when it wasn't meant to.This is also GREAT for ear infections (1-4 drops in an ear- 1-2 for a baby / child and 2-4 for an adult ear) in that is both soothing & promotes rapid healing.I WOULD purchase this again & I will keep this stocked in my cabinet for any skin issues (I read it can also be used internally, but I haven't tried it for that purpose).

I put some of this into a roller bottle and applied it several times a day to stubborn psoriasis. Over a several days, I am seeing continual improvement. One area that even freezing by the dermatologist failed to remove is now almost gone. It's a shame that medical science does not recognize more of the natural remedies. I suppose there isn't enough money in it.

This is mostly olive oil, so weakly infused with calendula flower essential oil that it's useless for therapeutic or aromatherapy purposes. People who are getting a benefit from it on their skin are benefitting from the olive oil, which is also has dermaceutical benefits, with a small content of calendula essence. You can just buy any face lotion with calendula as an ingredient at a fraction of this price, to get that. I've seen some (dishonest) reviewers claiming that it's olive oil infused with calendula because it would be too expensive to have a 100% calendula essential oil. That's so ridiculous. Calendula is made from the marigold plant and calendula flowers are marigold flowers. This is NOT a costly essential oils, comparatively. I'll try to return this, on the grounds of poor quality due to how weak the infusion is.

Pretty much the only 100% reliable, real calendula oil on the market.In the age of Pinterest and the internet where everyone is an instant health expert, while simultaneously having almost no idea what they are actually talking about, the market is flooded with calendula, St John's Wort, dandelion and other oils that are not properly made. This isn't snarbury, this is medicine. If you're drawn to herbs because you want them to work then you should want them to work properly.Herbpharm are traditionalist who know how to properly make all of these oils for actual full medicinal quality. Thus, their calendula oil is actually bright orange, their St John's Wort oil is actually bright red, and so on and so forth.If you're buying these kind of infused oils because you want them to actually work this company is the way to go.

This product is awesome. My wife has really bad shifting clouds on her back and after four days of use it barely looks like it's there. My three year old had a heat rash under her eyes that was spreading across her cheeks. That's almost gone as well. I would recommend this to anyone. Attached are photos of her back now and before.
