Shure wireless receivers provide both XLR and 1/4" output for each channel. For the case of the dual channel receiver, you will need 2 cables.

Do you mean a single channel wireless system? The BLX14/CVL? In either case, yes, you will be able to run both systems simultaneously. Each frequency band of the BLX can run numerous transmitters at the same time without interfering with each other. If you also happen to have the BLX14/CVL, you can also purchase the BLX288/PG58 in the same frequency band so that you can have back up transmitters/receivers in case any of them fail.

I see blx288/pg58, blx288/sm58 and blx288/b58 have the same receiver but different microphones. How to tell the difference of the microphone?

The Shure PG58 is "tuned" specifically for vocal applications and is engineered to be less susceptible to feedback and able to handle extreme volumes without distortion.
