This chin mount is held up well I’ve had it on my helmet for over a year and it works great.

Keep in mind if you put it in the exact middle it’s gonna be off center cause the go pro lens in on the left side of the camera. I didn’t think about that until I saw it in person, luckily the adhesive is really strong. I don’t have a totally flat area to place it on so it’s not completely flat on the helmet luckily the adhesive is so strong it does NOT wobble or anything. Out of the 4 squares that connects to the helmet only like 2and a half are touching surface area. Fine at 80mph. Haven’t tried more yet. And the screw that screws the GoPro in seems actually pretty good quality, it’s just kinda of hard to tighten with fingers with media mod on but my be a good idea so people can’t screw it on TO tight. I’d buy again

If you are looking for a quality helmet mount for your action camera that won't break the bank... Look no further. This thing is easy to attach to your helmet and once the adhesive takes hold it is extremely strong. The "wings" on the mount are curved to mount to any helmet and flex around each side. So much better the the side mounts for go pro, better view on video and stable.Highly recommend this product!!!

Fit my Bilt Techno 2.0 Matte Black Sena Bluetooth Helmet JPC Part # 550-1630 and now I don't have to Make a mount! I like how it fits the little bit of round on the face of the helmet. Glad i found it, it will make mounting my camera so much easier. Haven't done any riding yet so i don't know how well it will stay adhered, but it comes with a tether to also attach to the helmet, so if it does fall off, there is a safety catch. I have walked around with it and sat on the motorcycle with it on to aim the camera, and it seems pretty sturdy. If it eventually falls off I will use Sugru to make the mount permanently attached.

The product is nice way to mount the go pro to the front of your helmet for a pov. The problem is, the 3m two - sided tape will not hold in position once weight is applied. My Hero4 is permanently mounted to my moto-vlogging helmet. I installed the chin mount with the supplied tape and the next morning after setting overnight with the weight of the camera on it, it had released and the hinged joints allowed movement, causing the camera to have slack in it, so the videos would not be stable at higher speed or even low speed for that matter. I took a drill, a pilot bit and 4 #6/3/4" screws and secured the chin mount to the helmet with a screw connection. Other than the tape not holding properly after proper instillation, I have no issues with this mount, it works great and eliminates the arms from the side mount. Very sturdy made, and comes with everything needed to mount you go pro to. I met them in the middle with 3 stars, as I have no issue with the mount itself, but my choice of mount needed 4 holes drilled in helmet to use properly and safely to ensure no failure during riding. I do recommend this mount, but expect to take extra measures to install and keep it properly mounted.

Watch where you install it if you have a modular full face helmet. It might block the lever to open the helmet. Install when open.

I bought this about 6 months ago and so far it’s doing great. Some of the adhesive pads aren’t on my helmet because it’s a bit too narrow but overall it’s still on there pretty good. I even left my helmet in the car with this on in the heat for a couple weeks because my bike needed repairs and I thought it would ruin it but it was still on there just fine.Good adhesiveness, easy to put on, good price. Overall a great purchase and cheap too.

I have had this minimal chin mount on my helmet for over a yr. The only reason I had to replace it...is because I was side swiped by a car in S.F. and the chin mount broke on impact. Great thing is....the video was captured of the driver who hit me and then ran. They caught them quick thanks to this mount and my gopro running constantly!!!!This little mount...may help you win court battles if you are NOT at fault!
