Highly recommend. Why?
First sling shot got lost after the property was hit by 140mph winds during Derecho. Dang Raccoon now tries to get into the attic with 60 foot gaping hole until it can get fixed. Plus, broke into the Jeep. Bought this as a replacement. Not to kill these critters. Just to hit near them as a deterant to bothering out backyard inside a six foot high fence. Having the German Sheperd helps most of the time. The pellet further encourages to stay out. Trapping one to relocate it doesn't stop another from doing the same. Allowing the one who chooses to stick around learns this isn't an easy spot to bother with and generally leaves things alone. After having to leave for a month they got comfortable again and that's when the Jeep became a target. My bad for not unpacking the Jeep for a day. Lesson learned. This sling shot works great. Easy to use. Hit a target for fun. Or discourage critters, too. No animal was hit hurt or wounded. Just warned :) Update ----/\----- With practice shots figured out the pellet won’t hit my hand when properly aiming. Using the bottom of the V in the Y as my line of sight. So what happens was ... a new squirrel moved into the backyard. It taunts the dog. Who really wants to play, but the aloof fluffy tailed rat would rather tease. My intention wasn’t to hit the critter. Just graze it’s tail or cause it to rethink upon receipt of a cool breeze across its privates. At first it clicked its jaws at me while shaking its tail. Until I figured out the zero set up. Then, a few zipping beds later and buh-bye. It gave up and scurried off. Probably wondering what the hell was it that sailed by. Not sure how this will be on ware and tare since I’m only using it for teasing squirrels. So far it’s going great. Especially like the spare rubber band, leather seat for the beed, and bag of beads. Pee gravel is too light, but not a bad alternative ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Recommend 💯😁

A great entry level sling shot
This is a great entry level sligshot suited well for 9year old. My son and I enjoy shooting it at miscellaneous objects in our backyard and outside. The clay projectiles included are especially environmentally considerate and break down after impact unlike steel ball bearings. It is not difficult to use and my son can draw it back without struggle. It has been fun using it and the kit includes everything needed.

Fantastic!
Got this for my son because he kept seeing all the rinky-dink ones in stores and wanting them, and I wasn't paying $10 for a garbage piece of plastic and elastic. I've gotta say, this thing really exceeded my expectations. The elastic is double-banded so it takes some effort to pull back to full-draw, which is perfect for him because he can't cause a lot of real damage with it. My friends and I, on the other hand, got really drunk and took turns shooting pennies at each other to great effect - this thing will rip your skin right on open and leave pretty little lacerations that'll even start blistering after a day or two if you get a good shot against someone. A terrible idea in retrospect, but loads of fun at the time! And it makes good use out of just about anything less than 2" in diameter, almost regardless of shape. Bottle caps don't offer any sort of accuracy, but have a blunderbuss-like trajectory where you just aim and pray for the best, which adds a different sort of apprehension to drunken marksmanship. Rocks will chip cinderblock, and most anything will hurt you right good if you feel like being an idiot. The only thing to watch out for is the ammo it comes with - since it's a hard clay, it shatters and sprays on impact and we've had less foolhardy (and obviously, less drunk) friends get sprayed by the fragments when we were trying to be respectful and keep them out of the danger zone. So that was kinda lame but, by the same token, not lame enough to lose any points in the ratings. All in all, you can let your kid have fun in a somewhat-kinda-relatively safe sort of way, you can blast your friends painfully and in a drunken haze, and you could even probably kill small game with it if you wanted to use it like a responsible adult. Or like, maybe deter unwanted large animals/people that shouldn't be coming on your property or into your home, though I'd go for something more serious against a bear, or a person wielding a gun, or, god forbid, a bear wielding a gun. Jeez. Wouldn't that be something? I wonder if Amazon has gun-toting defense bears, too... that'd show those darn bears wielding guns a thing or two, I tell you what.

Anxious to Master!
I just recently purchased this slingshot. Actually, it came 3 days early! I knew I’d be taking a risk by ordering this product for such a low price but once it arrived; I felt real good about my purchase! It looks like real wood, feels sturdy in my hands, the bands pull sturdily and the “ammo” holder feels similar to leather. It comes with some pellets; they aren’t very heavy . My purpose for this slingshot is to run off the squirrels from our bird feeders! I don’t want to kill them; just to scare them off. I’m going to need more practice; I don’t think that has anything to do with the accuracy of the product. I am pleased with my purchase and recommend. Great value for the money.

The Wood is Weak, Broke on 20th Shot
I wanted to like this slingshot. It was easy to hold albeit just a little small for my average mail hands. Shooting with it was pretty easy and fairly accurate. Unfortunately a couple misfires nicked the wood during launch and I found that they left a pretty big mark. I thought the wood was a little too soft. Then on about the 20th shot, one of the wooden side just snapped off and cut my hand a little. Please see the pictures. I would not buy this again.
