For very thick or cracked skin, we recommend to use the extra coarse roller with the 2nd speed. To maintain smooth feet, you can gradually transition to the regular coarse rollers and 1st speed. As skin is individual, you can also test the settings to determine what works well for your needs. For best results, please charge fully & glide the roller gently on your skin. Applying pressure actually impedes the effectiveness and power of the hard skin remover. So it's important to follow this in order to get gradual but visible results. If you've had years of callus build-up, pre-soaking and using on fully dry feet followed with a good moisturizer will give you immediate results. How do you stop it bouncing about?

The CR2100 pedicure kit is a powerful foot sander and the fast spinning of the roller can cause the device to bounce about if you're not holding it firmly and at a good angle/direction. This is not a malfunction and it's rare to see depending on how you use and hold the device. Pro Tip: Hold the foot grinder firmly and glide it gently on the callused areas of your feet. You can also change the angle or use the device with the other hand. Is this machine water proof?

Dear Iata, Yes, the CR2100 pedicure kit for men and women is waterproof. You can clean the roller and top part of the electric foot file safely under lukewarm, tap water. While the foot sander is waterpoof, we do not recommend using it underwater or in the shower.
