Where do I even start? This is probably one of the best lighters I’ve owned, period. It’s just a simple press of a button and you get a nice flame. No matches, no struggling with a bigger propane lighter, just instant, convenient use. I can keep it right next to my candle because it’s small and the overall design doesn’t make it stand out like a sore thumb. Astonishing price for 3 of them, this is a must have if you ever light candles.

I have purchased these lighters multiple times. They are perfect for so many occasions. I bought them for candles , but seem to use them for everything. Safer than common lighters and seem to last a long time. Also I like the colorful camo patterns!

Can reach deep, low wicks without singeing fingers. Not bulky like a grill/fireplace torch and 3pk is economical enough to place one in every room so you can put hands on easily instead of searching for the last place you used a lone unit, or fussing in a junk drawer for one. Only drawback I could see is that someone with arthritis or other mechanical weakness might have trouble applying enough pressure to ignite - requires a relatively strong thumb.

What I assume is the child safety is a heavy trigger. I don’t have a problem with it but I’d imagine arthritic or weaker hands would have trouble.

I started buying these at Walmart and truly enjoyed them. They make it safer for you to light up as the stem is some distance from the thumb wheel. This keeps your thumb cool.

These little lighters work just as well as the longer stick lighters. Got 3 of these for one price. Can't beat that. Very happy and will be purchasing these again.

Bic has a 30-second Youtube video on this product, if that helps.I wanted the long wand; that and the attractive design sold me. However, the product turns out to be useless for my purpose, as it (1) Is too hard to click (2) often takes many clicks to light and (3) only stays lit for a few seconds unless you continue pressing the lever.I have normal strength in my hands, but must press the lever with both hands.Bic boasts that this is a "child-resistant" lighter, by way of explaining the hard-to-click issue.I'm still looking for a lighter that an adult (without young children) can easily use.
