Works great on my Labrador Retriever and it even smells good!

A little backstory on my two month old kitten that I used this on: she was born at the end of September/early October in my garage and was abandoned by her mom at 2 weeks old. She had a respiratory infection, eye infection, fleas, was severely underweight—just not in good health. Living in Iowa, she was freezing cold the night I found her. I’ll spare the details, but she was bottle fed and rehabilitated to the healthy kitten she is now. I had no experience raising a kitten, but through Youtube videos and my local vet, I somehow pulled it off. She’s now 2.6 pounds and an absolute miracle!A few weeks ago, I noticed her scratching her ears and shaking her head. I assumed it was ear mites due to the conditions she was born in. I immediately started looking for a natural product I could use on her before she has her check up at the vet. Luckily, I found Bodhi Dog ear cleaner. I was pleasantly surprised with the smell—no harsh chemical smell, just fresh and clean eucalyptus and witch hazel. I followed the directions and put 4-6 drops in each ear, massaged it into the ear canal, took a cotton pad and wiped out the debris. Then, I (CAREFULLY) took q tips (I also watched plenty of youtube videos on how to do this safely so please don’t worry) and cleaned the deeper debris out. I was amazed at how much came out the first cleaning. I took a video of her ear prior to cleaning (video attached) so that I can compare when she is finished with her treatment. After getting as much of the gunk out, I then applied 4-6 more drops to the ear and let her shake her head. She is not a fan during the process, but I can immediately tell how much relief she feels. She is hardly scratching her ears now. I have continued to treat her ears every day/every other day and continue to get lots of debris out. Her ears look SO much better already.I then used them on my healthy 2 year old cat, and while she wasn’t a fan at first, she quickly relaxed and let me clean her ears. Her ears don’t have mites or debris just the tiniest amount of wax, but I wanted to prevent her from getting my kitten’s ear mites, and it’s good health maintenance.I never, ever write product reviews unless I truly love the product. I have nothing but good things to say. This ear cleaner is worth every penny, and even after a couple weeks of use, I have barely made a dent in the amount of solution. I can’t wait to take her to the vet and show them the before pictures and videos and tell them all about the product. Bodhi dog ear cleaner is going to be a staple in my house from here on out. I liked that this product claimed to rid pets of ear mites and was made from natural products. The smell can be strong but it’s not a bad smell. Although my cats who I got it to use on, know when I open the bottle and take of running. Obviously not many animals like it when you pour liquid down their ears, so the ease of use depends on how willing your pet is to sit and let you pour it in. My cats seem to hate it. But after a couple uses I could tell their ears looked cleaner and they had some drainage like the nasty stuff was coming out. This product recommends 10days of consecutive usage. I think at the end of 10 days my cats ears will be much cleaner and hopefully rid of mites. But right now they seem to testify the smell so it’s hard to get it done every day. I would only recommend if you have very docile pets.

I researched for a while, I mean weeks… how to help my poor Gus with his Ear Mites that were infested! I found this and read all the ingredients and were sold! Especially after finding out that most ear mite treatments contain toxic/even fatal ingredients for cats.Trying this, we def used the tip of soaking the bottle in warm water. Our cats seemed less pissed off when the solution was warm, you can tell it they actually enjoyed it. Of course they’re going to shake pretty gnarly once it hits their ear canal &beyond… but if you wrap them in a kitty burrito, then all is well. They’re mad at first but after a few minutes you can tell they have some relief. You do have to use it frequently. And if you choose to put it on a Cotton pad and then wipe their ear, it won’t be as effective. Per directions, put in a good 4 to 5 drops (don’t squeeze the bottle, they will drip out just fine when you tilt it and open the cap screw) massage their ear on the outside. Clean with a cotton swab… only do this if they’re secure, you know what you’re doing, and you have substantial light. If you go in like a n00b you can make your baby deaf/: no need… if you don’t have the eye to do it (my bf has to do that part I’m too depth perception off/have bad eyes in general) so he does the cotton swab part. A cotton pad will do just make sure you shine a light in their ear (no their eyes lol). And get that nasty @$$ ear mite gunk out!!!! Once that’s done do a couple more lite drops and let them roam free. They will naturally shake it out of their head. It takes a week or so for 100% results but you have to be diligent and do it every single day. I’d you’re spacey about the treatments then you will have a never ending story of reapplying and reinfecting. Just try to hold yourself and your partner accountable and get it done:) the bottle can last on multiple pets too! Just don’t get it in their eyes, be cautious:) anyway, hope this helped. HAVE TRIED SEVERAL PRODUCTS AS MY BABY HAD ITCHY & SMELLY EARS AS SHE HAD DEVELOPED FUNGUS AND WAS NOT ABLE TO GET RID OFF, BUT AFTER USING THIS PRODUCT SHE CALM DOWN AND HER EARS BECAME LESS IRRITABLE, GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE

I can’t say really if it’s helping or not yet as I just got it but when it came it was supposed to be 8oz but the bottle only had 7oz and it smells like straight alcohol.

I bought this for one of my dogs who gets a lot of buildup in her ears. It's easy to use and works great! Glad I bought this.
