Salt Water Sandals by Hoy Shoe Sweetheart Sandal (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid/Women's)

BEWARE OF FAKES! I ordered the shiny fuscia (seller is MilliKix) and just received them. As soon as I held them in my hand I could tell they are fakes. The shoes have no weight to them and they bend...you could easily break them in half. Real Saltwaters have a weighted, sturdy sole and nice, thick straps and are quality shoes. The straps on these feel like thicker construction paper. The entire shoe is a joke. I also ordered a size 9 and they are enormous. They are getting returned tomorrow. Again, watch out for fakes and shady sellers.As an aside, I’ve ordered a couple of Saltwaters here on Amazon and they are great. I’m just going to avoid unknown 3rd party sellers from this point on.

We live 10 minutes from the beach. These are the only sandals that last the whole 9-10 months of sandal wearing weather and still look fantastic at the end of the season! I have 3 daughters and these are THE summer sandals of choice in our house!

These shoes are so adorable! We've had them a few days and my 20 month old has worn them almost continuously with no issues. They are super cute and my daughter runs and plays in them in comfort. They run a bit big and I'm not sure of how they are supposed to fit. I bought both size 5 and 6 with her moderately narrow feet measuring a 6 ( a hair short of 13cm) according to the size chart. When we got them they both fit comfortably but her toes just barely came to the opening of the toe strap on the 6s. The 5s fit her well but probably will only fit a few months. I guess I caught her between sizes. I wish they made half sizes!In the picture, the 5 is on her right foot and the 6 on the left foot. The single pic is of a size 5.

These are so cute, and the leather is soft, but they didn't work for us. The size chart on salt water's website indicated that my 2yo would wear a size 5 (her feet are about 5" long). I ordered a size 6, length is good with room to grow, but straps were way too short for her pudgy potato shaped feet. The strap over her ankle couldn't even be fastened. I'm going to try a size 7, but I suspect they'll be too long for her.

My 2 year old wears a size 7 shoe but still fits into some of her 6 shoes, so based on the reviews I ordered the 6. As soon as I put it on her foot I thought "uhhh, the ankle is going to be a problem". Even on the very first buckle hole, the shoe was much too tight on her chubby little ankles thought it did fit her foot bed. I guess I'll buy these shoes again when she thins out a bit as she grows, but returning these. My daughter is 90th percentile for height and weight, but I'm surprised I didn't see anyone else mention these shoes might not work on kids with chubby ankles. Too bad, because they're really cute.

OUCH! My kid has worn other Salt-Water sandals with no problems. Now I ordered these as her new Spring sandals. This style is NOT good. The scalloped edges of the leather straps were so stiff and had very sharp edges. They cut into her foot so much she only had one side on for about 2 seconds before pulling it off saying they hurt. When I touched the edges I couldn't believe how sharp they felt. It could be a defect but I won't be ordering Salt-Water sandals any longer. They are cute, but she needs something she can run in comfortably all summer.

Very pleased with these sandals. My just-turned-3 daughter hates the feeling of anything between her toes, so flip flops were a no-go in our house. I wanted a sweet and simple sandal that she could wear with playclothes or sundresses all summer. I found it! The sole is very sturdy, but comfortable. The bottom is a rubbery material, so climbing on playground equipment has been easy in these. The leather is soft and forgiving. The heart cut outs are so cute! All in all a well-designed sandal for children. I especially love the buckles. It looks so much nicer than a velcro shoe! The sizing might run a liiittttlllleee big.2 YEARS LATER UPDATE: Holy cow, we love these sandals so much we just keep buying them. I bought her a new pair last year and we will be getting another new pair tomotrow. People ask me all the time where i got them because everyone is looking for nice, sturdy sandals that are supportive AND cute. These sandals seriously rock. I wish they sold the same sole in adult sizes!

I purchased these sandals for my 20 month old in a size 6. She has pretty thick feet and these shoes have adjustable straps, so I thought they would work well. There is plenty of length to the shoe for her foot to grow longer. However, I have the top strap around her ankle on the loosest setting and it is still pretty tight. The bottom strap is on the 2nd to loosest setting. The shoes are adorable and really light weight, but I wouldn't recommend them for children with fat feet. Still debating on returning them.

I downloaded Saltwater's size chart to be sure I ordered the correct size - I know the original style is known to run large. Our daughter's foot measured a size 4 on the chart, but I ordered a size 5 since she is growing out of all her other size 4 shoes. The size 5s fit perfectly!! Love this brand - they seem so comfortable, easy to walk in, and such a classic look. I would recommend going a size up, or at least adding 1 cm to your child's foot length on the chart to ensure you get a size that fits.

Super disappointed with these. I bought a pair for my daughter last year (the sea wees ones) and they were awesome but these are super stiff and cut up her feet. She got blisters on the tops of her feet and cuts in the backs of her heels. Not sure why they’re so stiff.

Love these sandals. These are my daughters second pair. She wears them everyday and they are super cute with shorts or a dress. Easy to care for, I just wipe them with a damp cloth but they are also machine washable. I was concerned she would have trouble buckling them on her own at school but she learned within a day.

Love these shoes! They fit super well, look amazing, are very supportive and can be warn in the water. They also hold up amazing! Have been able to pass through 3 different kids for three seasons and they’re still in great condition. I will forever invest in these!

These are super cute for my chubby footed toddler. My only complaint is that the ankle strap on the size 6 is very, very short. We're on the last hole right now, and if she grows anymore, we won't be able to fasten them. We tried sizing up to avoid this problem, but even though the ankle strap is (a lot) longer, the sole of the size 7 is way longer too. They should just add an extra half an inch and a couple of extra holes on the ankle strap, and this sandal would be absolutely perfect.

These are some of the best sandals you can buy! Good for the park or the beach and so stylish your little girl will always get compliments on her shoes.

My daughter loved these sandals and wore them all summer. Only complaint it the metal buckle is a a little flimsy and bent easily. Maybe difficult for some children to buckle on there own.

These are the perfect summer sandals for my 5 year old. Very well made. She has worn them in the water multiple times and they are still in perfect condition
