Stick with it...the best brush for the money.
I have a broad assortment of at least a dozen badger, boar and synthetic shaving brushes. I like most all of them, each having something likable about them.If I had to pick one, it would be hard to argue against one of the Omega boar brushes. With time they become nice and soft, and have just the right blend of backbone and splay to make them very efficient and comfortable little lather monsters.I tried a Semogue boar but found it a little too floppy. The Omegas are much better. They get softer with use, mine never shed more than a hair or two, don't stink and they can really bust out a lather. Many handle designs to choose from, too. The big "professional" boars from them are really fantastic...can easily produce enough lather for 3 shaves with a modest dab of soap or cream.Price is right, too. One of the best brushes period, and their price makes them a great deal.

High quality for a low price
This brush is a great value for the price. After 2 months of use I can say I'm really glad I got this. The boar bristle is just stiff enough to build a great lather with most soaps but softens up enough after a few shaves to be really pleasant on the skin. There's a slight odor right out of the box because it's natural bristle but it disappears after a few uses. Fo me, this is better than synthetic or badger brushes I've used in the past.

Nice and stiff.
I've been using a softer, off-brand brush that works fine, but, I really wanted something stiffer. This Omega 10066 is exactly what I wanted. Quite a bit firmer than this one ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C6WSN4YN ) it holds enough to do 2 passes but definitely not 3 (after only 1 shave... so.. might be my technique).I inspected it closely out of the box and it had zero Boar smell. Zero. Even asked my wife to give it a sniff. Still nothing. I soaked it for a few hours then shook it out, and shaved... loved how much control I had over where the lather went compared to the old sloppy brush.New favorite.

Very nice brush. It smells but I don’t care
It smells like a hog lol. But that’s what it came from so it’s to be expected. Anyone who has an issue with it can buy a synthetic one. It works great. I expected it to be bigger but I’m glad it’s this size. The brissles are strong enough to create a good lather from my soap. Badger hair and synthetics tend to be softer and don’t create as well of a cream from soap as easily. People don’t like the boar because it’s rough on the face when applying but who cares. It’s not even bad. I love this brush!

Smooth and consistent
I am starting out in the world of shaving with a Safety Razor and I didn't want to spend more than necessary, and while searching I found this Italian brush, affordable and well made , you could say that it is what they call quality and price, I have been using it for several weeks now, If something comes up I will update this Review, but for now it does its job and the bristles remain firm.

It cost $12, can’t beat this one for value
This isn’t the nicest brush I own, but it is the best one I own in terms of value. I own a number of Simpson’s badger brushes costing up to 20 times this one, but this boat brush is a solid performer in my rotation. It is starting to break in and soften after about 10 shaves. It will get softer, but retain a good backbone for soap lathering. It took about 5 shaves to get rid of the chemical smell it came with (sanitizer?). The handle is really light and cheap feeling and it has lost a lot of bristles (several per use), but this seems to be decreasing with each use the past few shaves. I would recommend this brush for any shaver, newbie or experienced wet shavers alike and for those on a budget.

Very nice little brush
Nice little brush! I have a bigger Omega knot that I use for head shaves, and I was looking to add a smaller piece for regular shaving. It looks like it will be a great addition to my Omega collection.I soaked it for just 3-4 hours in laundry detergent, and the smell is almost completely gone. After drying, the hairs are already starting to split at the ends.Very happy with how this turned out so far!
