I've been wearing holdups for 10 years,they don't last forever but they do stay fastened.

This suspender is very comfortable. It lays very flat under a shirt to hide it. I also wear over shirts without problems. It attaches using a pin in a clip, so it will leave a very tiny pin size hole in your pants. The holes are difficult to find again so they may close up, but I guess it would depend on material. The clips attaching to pants feel very secure and do not feel like they will pull off. I slide into my car seat and felt them snag a little during the process, but they did not pull loose. The sliders used to adjust the tightness are very easy to use and hold their place. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Holdup suspenders are the best I have tried. They hold up very well and look nice too.

The pins on the clamps hold the suspender firmly in place. Still works perfectly after 3 month, unlike most others that can lose their grip.

These work great, but the color is such a dark navy blue it's almost not blue at all. I'm keeping them, but I'll wear them like black suspenders. Maybe they'll be blue in sunlight, I wouldn't know. I live in Seattle. EDIT - So I got curious enough to photograph the suspenders against a Kodak gray card. I color balanced for the gray to compensate for lighting, and got the actual color values from Photoshop. The RGB was 21, 26, 36, so it's blue... but VERY dark. See the attached image for where the eyedropper found the color. :)

This is a top-class product and worth every penny. I purchased them for my husband because he has struggled with belts and the associated problem of his trousers slipping despite HAVING worn a belt. He has been very pleased with the fit and the fact that the clips absolutely DO NOT RELEASE even with bending and stretching or any normal movement. He wishes he would have had these twenty years ago. I concur.
