Bought this for the lift top feature since I like to eat on my sofa. I wish it came in a larger size but it’s plenty of table space for one person to eat, kind of crowded for two but doable. I was surprised at how nice it looks for the price. It doesn’t feel like super cheap Amazon furniture (although FYI that “concrete” top is just MDF with concrete laminate, hence the price). I like that the table has some weight to it, doesn’t feel like cheap lightweight furniture. Sturdy legs and the lift top mechanism is fairly smooth. It can slam shut somewhat hard though so I put thin little rubber pads to soften the sound. People saying that the parts don’t align or it’s crooked just honestly don’t know how to build furniture that well. It’s not difficult to assemble you just have to do it with some finesse so I can see how someone not very skilled could easily build this coffee table out of alignment. Overall pretty impressed especially because I did not expect much for the price!

Love the look and functionality of the table. It coincidentally matches our tv stand as well. Assembly was smooth for the most part, but we could not align some of the screws with the pre-drilled holes and we were initially unable to lift/close the storage part of the table.To fix this, we removed the top bar (J in the instructions) and were able to line up the screws without issue. Now we can lift and close the table smoothly. It may not be able to hold as much weight on top after doing this, but we aren’t putting anything heavy on it anyway; it was just irritating not being able to lift/close.

Relatively easy to set up and looks really nice. Table when raised I really sturdy even when not locked in place. Only downside there seems to be like a white film on the wood part of the table. Not noticeable unless the light hits it just right. But for the price it's great

I needed to buy all new furniture for my apartment and wanted a non-traditional coffee table. I bought this after seeing similar versions for far greater cost from places like Ikea and Overstock.The biggest drawback for me was that I had to assemble it twice. There is an orientation for the section that rises. It's not reversible. That aside, this is likely the best produced piece of Chinese ship-in-a-box furniture I've had to build. Everything was smooth and clean (no splinters or dust), all the holes were drilled correctly (minus the holes inside that weren't supposed to be drilled but would really help out), and everything fits and works like it's suppose to. It's solid, looks more expensive than it is, and didn't need too much swearing to construct.I will say it helped to use proper tools instead of the included, but that's just me. Overall, highly recommend.

I love this piece. There were a few reviews on the construction being difficult, but I didn't find it to be too bad. There are 4 screws that you have to screw in without holes pre drilled but I used a screwdriver and pressure and they went in just fine. The lift table actually has a locking mechanism too so that you can lock the desk piece in place when in use. Overall I think it's a very cool unique looking coffee table and I'm very excited to give some flare to my living room. Looks to be all laminate pieces but in general I think it looks and feels nice for the price with great features. 10/10 would buy again (my parents also like it so much they may buy one for themselves)

Bought this coffee table when it had just two 5-star reviews and cost $100 (after coupon). Now after having used it for over a week I have to give it a solid 5 stars!!!Assembly was easy (~45mins), table is study, love the lift top (and the lock) and not to mention the table looks stunning. Can I just add that west elm sells a slightly bigger but similar looking table for $700. This design and functionality seem really difficult to find at most stores. Even if you find something it will cost $300+. Glad I found this one on page 17 or 18 of Amazon search listing and decided to purchase.

Title says it all. I bought it thinking it was gonna be a lot longer than what I expected it to be. The box it comes in was much bigger than the final product. It's a very nice table for the money actually spent, but if you're looking for a bigger/longer table, this one is definitely on the smaller side. It would be a great table for smaller sized living rooms or a smaller apartment. Definitely feels good overall.

the top literally does not fit on correctly. on top of that the screws are super cheap and strip SO easily that it’s hard to arrange properly. on top of THAT doesn’t matter which way you put the top because i tried THREE different ways already and no matter what i do they do not fit.
