Worked great, no problems
I needed to drill a 1/2 in by 5 in hole in some concrete, for an anchor. I have a couple of regular drills, an impact driver, and a hammer drill. Because this has the 1/4 shank that looks like it fits an impact driver, I thought I'd give it a shot first.... It's not the fault of the drill bit that the impact driver didn't perform well, but the purpose of the 1/4 shank is lost if an impact driver isn't appropriate for the task. I knew that the "regular" drills would be a waste of time... which is why I bought the hammer drill.I was concerned about using the hammer drill with this bit. Other 1/2 bits that resemble this one, shred when they're put between the hammer drill and concrete. The other bits are only useable for a couple of inches before the stress causes them to fail. This bit performed very well.... and produced a very nice hole. Upon examination, it appears the "teeth" have suffered very little (if any) damage and will live in my tool box until the next time I need such a hole.

Great price or hard to find masonry bit
Great price or hard to find masonry bit! I only wanted one bit, not a whole set, and that seems hard to find. I was happy to be able to buy a name brand Bosch that is recognized for quality. I only needed to drill one hole into a concrete flower pot I bought on sale, so I didn't want to spend a lot or have extra stuff. Perfect for drilling concrete or terracotta. You do have to be careful to not drill too fast so you don't create much heat, and also drill at an angle.

Great value and super durability!
Drilled 27 holes in “old school” concrete with this bit in my hammer drill. When I say old school I mean down south, laying on the drill concrete that had river rock and granite along with whatever else they threw in it from back in the 60’s. The bit performed great! It did show some wear but I thought it was toast after about 15 holes or so. Not so. It still work’s fantastic! Great value!

Great drill bit for drilling through large granite stone.
I used this bit to drill holes in granite and insert wedges to break the stone. Compared to the cheap drill bit that came with the wedge kit, this one went through the stone like butter—it saved me a lot of time and effort.
