Earthen Clear Eye No.1 with Haloxyl Dark Circle Treatment, 5 Ounce

At $145 for a tiny bitty itty teeny jar (half an ounce), I wanted to see something spectacular immediately . However, I did not notice a a big difference when applying it to my tired-got-up-too-early-after-a-sleepless-night eyes. They still look tired and smudgy. That’s just from one application, however. Still, I think I should have noticed something more. Sure, perhaps this is made for long-term and not immediate results, but still, I was hoping for just a little bit more results.It’s difficult for me to star rate this because on the one hand I LOVE how it feels on my skin around my eyes and lips (I always use eye cream on my lip area too—a tip from a beauty expert I learned long ago); it’s super luxe and gorgeous feeling, but, *gulp!* 🥴😮 on the price!The other eye cream by this company is just as expensive and I am just as conflicted on star rating because of price, and I’ve given very similar reviews as they both feel and look the same.What I liked:A little goes a long way so the half an ounce will last a whileThe cream is thick but it smooths on very beautifullyIt feels really nice going on my skin—no pulling no dragging, just nice luxe feeling cream that leaves my skin softAbsolutely zero irritation—no burning, itching, and none leaking into my eyes and onto my contactsLots of information about the product on the Amazon page so you know what you are getting and what it doesMade here in the USA (though I do love my K-Beauty, I like that luxe USA skincare products are showing up more).What I don’t like:The price. That’s the only negative I see in this eye cream. I simply could not afford this in my budget when there are eye creams I’ve tried that more fit my budget. There are many eye creams out there that feel just as luxurious and nice for half, or less than half, the price.Now perhaps with continued use I’ll see some ‘miracle’ happen to my eyes and I’ll be going ‘HEY!” But even so, I’d not have the funds to purchase a little jar of eye cream for $145. But, I will be back to report if I do some some ‘miracle’ to my eyes.If you like luxury skincare products that feel luxe and amazing, and make you feel super pampered, and you have the budget for it, this eye cream will likely make you very happy.I’m giving it 4 stars for how beautiful an eye cream it is, how it feels super luxe on my skin, how maybe there is a tiny teeny bit of difference in how my eyes look, and docking one star for the ridiculous price.

I have hereditary dark under eye circles and with the exception of a few eye masks, have never found a product that provides much improvement. My dark circles are from blood pooling and not pigmented skin, so they’re especially hard to get rid of. I’ve been using this Earthen treatment twice a day for a month now. The cream itself is thin and a little runny, and should probably be in a pump dispenser. It has a silky texture, goes on easily and absorbs fairly quickly. After a month I can honestly say the skin around my eyes is more moisturized than it’s ever been during the winter, and my skin is super soft...impressive! Unfortunately, my dark circles are maybe...maybe, a smidge less pronounced, but nothing to get excited about. As a moisturizer, this is an awesome cream and better than comparably priced Skinceuticals and Neocutis eye treatments. As a treatment for dark circles, it simply doesn't work for me.

Luxurious eye cream that works, but I do fail to see what I'm paying for in ingredients. I absolutely love the texture of this product and, for me, I only wear skin care products at night, so I enjoy that it leaves some residue on the skin and does not fully absorb. It seals in beautifully under all moisturizers I've tried it with so far and while I have not found that it produced significantly instant results, I am VERY pleased with the reduction in fine lines around my eyes. I was just recently noticing that the skin around my eyes was maturing more rapidly than much of my face, and I was beginning to get stressed out that I couldn't seem to lift the area at all no matter what I tried. I do see improvement in that area with this cream - HOWEVER, I do know there are excellent creams/eye gels around half this price point that CAN do it.The bottom line on this product is that it does work. Pricewise, I think it's a bit steep because I believe you're paying for the effect, not for the ingredients and I don't care for that. But if you've got your eye on this product and you don't mind the spend, I can assure you it is an effective eye product that will give you lift around your eyes for sure. Recommended.

I’m in my 50’s and have dry, sensitive skin. Earthen Clear #1 With Haloxyl is a translucent white eye cream that feels lightweight and is absorbed quickly. I don’t notice any fragrance, and it feels like a really gentle cream on my sensitive skin. It leaves my skin matte with no residue and is totally nongreasy, so it’s good for daytime use under makeup. This cream makes my skin feel soft and moisturizes enough to get rid of flakiness, though I do prefer a denser cream with more of a firming feel given my age and skin type.I selected this cream as I’ve had chronic dark circles since I was young, and I’m not sure if there’s been improvement or not. I do feel like it’s lighter under my eyes at times but other times I feel like there’s minimal or no change. Either way, I’ve only found a few products ever that seem to help my dark circles. This is a pleasant cream and seems good quality, though it seems better suited to when I was younger (perhaps 30’ and early 40’s) and best for those who prefer a lightweight cream. I like this cream enough to continue using it, but I prefer something richer with a firming feel. 4 stars.
