Typhoon Adult Full Face Motorcycle Helmet w/Drop Down Sun Shield DOT Certified

this helmet saved my life. I was hit on my way to work by a truck that wasn't paying attention and then they took off. the helmet was very comfortable and had a good fit it did have a little bit of weight to it but nothing that wasn't too bad. for being a cheaper helmet it has the quality of a $150+ helmet! When I was hit my head/face took a pretty hard hit on the ground, the helmet did get scratched up good but it did not crack or even. some of the scratches were even across the visor and it did not pop off or break. I was hit at about 35-40 mph. If I hadn't gotten a different helmet that I had been eye-balling for a while I would have absolutely reordered this one again.

First, let’s talk about the looks. So, the green color matches my 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650 nicely. The hi vis color is a matte green, with black and white graphics which looks really cool! The shape of the helmet is very sleek, low profile and shorter in height than my Shoei. As far as sizing, I am in between a medium and large, right on the cusp. So, I went with the medium, knowing from experience that motorcycle helmets tend to break-in, like a pair of new shoes. The helmet fits snug, will loosen up a bit after a few uses. I’m happy I went with this rather than a large size, which would probably fit too loose after the break-in period. The neck strap is really great because it easily snaps together and so convenient. All in all, I love this helmet. I have already taken it on its maiden voyage to the Santa Monica mountains, and hope to take it out on many more rides. If you have a Green Kawasaki Ninja, or if you just like the hi vis green, you gotta get this! I am 100% satisfied with this purchase and would buy it again.

So, in all other helmets fit absolutely perfectly with a size small. This brand is just a few cm too big, but not to a point where it will cause problems. I've already taken it in to a local place and had the size double checked when I realized it felt a tiny bit loose. Otherwise this helmet is absolutely perfect for the price! Everywhere in my area either doesn't carry a size small, or the size small is $40+ more! So I am so so so pleased. It feels light weight and extremely comfortable as well. I didn't exactly pay attention to it so I was surprised to find out it has the cool UV protective piece as well.

Perfect fit & quality & comfort

Well made, good looking and comfortable. It’s a bit tight but that’s my fault not the company. I LOVE the built in sun shade that drops down easily by sliding a small lever on the side and it’s well ventilated when you open all the vents. Definitely a great deal. You might want to order the next size up, like I said mine is very tight and I followed their instructions and sizing it.

Decent helmet. Only thing wrong is it's only dot certified and the breath blocker isn't close enough so the helmet still gets fogged up. Has a sun visor which is a plus and a quick chin strap. All in all its a good helmet for the price.

For the price I thought it might be cheaply made but it's as good as much more expensive helmets I've owned. Very good features and function. The visors and vents work perfectly. I really like the quick connect chin strap. I've always had straps that have to be threaded thru metal loops. I used the fit chart and it fits exactly how I think it should. It's snug but comfortable. Helmets always get looser over time as the foam compresses. I haven't used it on a ride yet but I'll update if there are any issues.
