Patons Silk Bamboo Yarn, 2.2 oz, Stone

It is a delight working with this yarn. It is made of silk and bamboo which gives it a softness and strength. It works really fast because of the high quality of the material. I hope they don't discontinue it because it looks like that's what they're doing. It's getting harder and harder to find. I'm sorry I don't have a picture to upload. I hope I can do it later. I made a triangle shawl with it that you can wear everyday or keep for special occasions like weddings. Hope this was helpful.

I bought this yarn in Sapphire, and it's a really beautiful color. The yarn itself is very soft and silky and feels good on the skin. It's also very lightweight, so it can be worn in warmer weather if used to make clothing, but it's also warm enough to be a blanket or scarf. My only problem was that the yarn would separate somewhat easily, so sometimes I had to redo a stitch or work more carefully in general. Other than that, it's a quality yarn that's worth the money.

This yarn is soft, gorgeous and a joy to work with, BUT -- in my opinion, it should only be used for drapey items where gauge doesn't matter too much, like a scarf or a shawl. If you're trying to make anything fitted, even just a hat, you'll a.) need to make it about 10% smaller than you think you should, and b.) be driven mad. If it stretches, it won't spring back to its original size, even with ribbing. I've also found a LOT of knots in these skeins. It doesn't bother me too much personally, but it's something to keep in mind, especially since the skeins are so small. That said, if you make something ideally a bit lacey, this yarn opens up gloriously -- GLORIOUSLY -- during blocking. Just use it for the right project, and you'll be delighted with the results.

Soft and smooth with a beautiful shine. Knits up beautifully and is easy to work with. Be careful because it tends to untwist if you have to pullout and rework a few stitches but I 💯love this yarn. I just ordered more in another color.

Great product, small tho, not alot of yarn...like to make a blanket ud need 20 of them...but perfect for small stuff...i made a baby hat with them and 2 baby shoe soles with the blue one i bought. Very soft and shiney

I love this yarn. I bought a few skeins a couple of months ago with no clear project in mind.. I ended up making a tank top with it and absolutely love the feel of it.. its a tank that I'll wear over a shirt in cool weather and this yarn is just perfect for it. It drapes perfectly, feels so soft and has just the perfect percentage of shine. Hope you love it as much as I do!!

Soo soft and shiny. This is a beautiful yarn. But I am a total novice and I will leave this information for all the other novices. It's not like wool. It is very slick. I could not knit it with metal needles, bamboo worked much better. It also doesn't have much stretch. I was thinking of making leggings from it and have decided to make a shawl instead since there is no give. EDIT: Shawl didn't work either. The yarn is too slick. Yarnovers just melt into a sloppy looking mess. The final attempt will be a loose knit blouse. That is going well, but the knots!!! Every skein has at least one. When I run into one I have to rip out the work until I get to a seam because the yarn is too slick for the usual ways for joining to work. I love the yarn, but I will not be buying more. The knots are just too frustrating.

Choose this as it was the suggested yarn in the pattern, for a top I wanted to knit. The yarn is easy to work with. When knitted up it has a slight sheen and feels smooth and silky . The colour is lovely intense, dark turquoise blue. Feels comfortable on. Haven’t tried washing it yet. Even with the cost of posting this was an economical knit. Very Pleased with my garment.

this is a beautiful yarn and is a dream to work with!!!! feels so nice on the roll and maintains its softness after worked into an item - was bit lighter then i wanted so i just used 2 strands and its perfect!!!! has a bit of a shine to it as well that just adds an extra nice touch to work :)

No dislikes. It knitted very well. I made a tie with. It has a lovely sheen to the finished item.
