These are wonderful!
I’m a tall gal with a 13 narrow foot. I was leery about buying shoes online from a manufacturer I’ve not tried before. I used the measuring suggestion of a paper and ruler and made the closest choice I could. I can’t be any happier! These fit so well. They are lightweight with lots of support. I originally intended to use them for hiking on a trip to Hawaii and thought I would wear them for a day at work to see if they would be comfortable or need breaking in. Well, I’ve now worn them 2-3 days a week since because they are soooo comfy. I even wore them skydiving and not even the wind could knock them off. They’re a little tight pulling them on, but once they’re on they stay put and my feet are fine after climbing stairs and walking a lot in them at work. I would not hesitate to buy more. I’ve not received any compensation for this review and paid full price at the time I bought them. I bought the olive drab color and it’s pretty true to the color.

Comfortable!
Bought these for the husband. He loves them. He says they are really comfortable. He likes to wear them for working out, going on walks and hiking. They fit his feet well, breath well and have held up to his abuse. The part he likes the most is the grippiness of the bottoms. He has a tendency to slip on stuff a lot and these have a deep tread and really good grip.

Good transition to barefoot/minimalist shoes, minor improvements could be made
4 stars because they are great but could be better. These shoes seem of good quality and well thought of. No color of finish surprises; I bouight green. The design is good enough to fool most to think they are $150. No shoe laces to get loose during hikes. Rather all the shoe is somewhat elastic and on top of that, there is the elastic tie band. The sock design opening will make impossible for small pebles and dirt to get in the shoe, while also making them easy and quick to put on or off. They are very light The sole is thick, around 19mm on the heel and around 14-15mm near the ball of the foot. This was a bit of a dissapointment because I was used to hike with a thinner sole and was used to feeling the ground and adjusting my gate and pace accordingly. I placed the shoe in a small shelf and measured the distance from the heel to the top shelf and from the ball of foot area to the top shelf and confirmed this shoe has around 4-5mm drop. I wish there was more rubber al around the tip of the shoe but at least what it has comes from the same part as the sole and that will prevent the rubber tip from comming appart as is common in hiking shoes. Anyway, the fabric near the base of the shoe is thicker and tougher than a regular running shoe even though in the product pictures it looks the same. Also the sole comes up the back of the shoe and there are harder shells around the arch/mid portion fo the foot) The toe box is narrow, fortunatley this shoe runs big and my toes fit in the widest part of the shoe (I wear men size 7). Fortunately whatever width is missing in the toe box is not severely constraining my toes by the elastic fabric (instead of rigid or heavy build in boots). At first it was kind of tight over the pinky metatarsal but it loosened up in a couple of hours. All in all, the toe box feels good enough to wiggle all fingers without any or much restriction. No discomfort at all. Ventilation is not as great as a running shoe but still better than my previous trail running shoes. There is no arch support so I am getting used to this and building strenght before a challenging one-day hike coming soon. I am barefoot most of the time since covid but for some reason not having arch support while wearing shoes, feels different. I did plenty of running in FiveFingers years ago though, so there is some memory. The only thing that bothers me about this shoe is the sole on the inside on the heel area which I tried to capture in picture, where I can feel a big grid/waffle pattern (only when removing the insole). I am afraid this might become unconfortable when the insole wears out, or this might even wear out the insole quicker. If these shoes are ruined after a couple of months I dont care because they have a good price. I dont want to spend $200 on brand shoes that will also come appart as several amazon and youtube reviews I saw.

No size that works for me, size inconsistent between L and R
These are really nice shoes, extremely light and comfortable, but they have an annoying size gap wherein they offer a US women's 8.5 and a 9.5, but no 9. The seller advised to order the 9.5, but I ordered both to compare. The 9.5 was far too large and clown-looking on me. Here's where things get weird. My left foot is larger than my right, always has been, to the point that I always try on a left shoe to see if that fits in any style. The size 8.5 left shoe fit well, but the 8.5 on my (smaller) right foot? Too small and rubbing the outside of my big toe. Riddle me that. It should have been roomier. I checked, and both were labeled "40" inside. So both of these are going back. This is a bummer, because these are so light, breathable and seemingly supportive laterally with the side plastic supports than you can cinch as needed. If your foot is taller or less tall, the cinching would be able to make these fit like a a glove, if only the length came in half sizes all the way up. Strangely, they have half sizes for much of their size range, but not all. I can't see that these would work for wide feet, though, since the side plastic is in the way. These are actually nice enough that I might've bought three of the four colors and taken them hiking instead of my heavier and much pricier Merrells, but the size issue is the showstopper here. They're stylish enough to wear with my Lululemon or Athleta leggings, and the letters on the heel aren't that obstrusive. (Sometimes China-made brands put absolute gibberish on their athletic shoes, which cheapens them greatly.) Too bad, have to return both. Maybe I can find a similar style by another maker that fits.

Amazing grip, best value!
Best value I could find, worth every penny and then some. Amazing grip, breathable, comfortable, and super lightweight. My husband and I both got a pair to take on our 5 day, none stop hiking, trip in Arizona. The grip while hiking on the slippery Redrock was fantastic. I've used them on at least 5 more long hikes and they've held up excellently. I would buy these again and recommend them to everyone I know. I also got quite a few people asking me where I got them while hiking. They couldn't believe me when I mentioned the price. Keep in mind they offer no ankle support if that's something you need. I had no ankle discomfort though, but others may need that.
