These strings are an excellent value for the quality, tone, and strength. I'm a string bender to the max. And these strings are holding up. Normally use the Les Paul sigs. But they are back ordered now. These match in sound and quality. So I recommend to all Gibson Les Paul players, these are A great replacement.

.... hätte mir als normaler Gitarrist schon erwartet, daß die einzelnen Saiten - wie üblich ! - farblich abgestimmt sind ! Nicht ganz so einfach der "b" zur "E" - Saite. Klangleistung scheint ok, Haltbarkeit etc. kann sicher erst nach einer gewissen Zeit beurteilt werden. Fazit: Es muß nicht (!) Original Gibson sein.

I was in the market for the first set of replacement strings for my Epiphone Les Paul.The reviews said go for Ernie Balls strings. I purchased such strings but just didn’t get on with them. I did tune them but they just didn’t sound right.I then purchased theses Gibson strings and their a perfect match for my Epiphone Les Paul. Should have purchased them in the first place.
