I purchased this model upon a recommendation from my fly fishing friend who has the next better model. I must say it's a great float tube and agreeable better than my friend's model. Lots of options and configurability and is drum-tight when pumped up. I'm 5' 10" and weight 180 lbs and this tube is super comfortable and floats me perfectly. I really like the foam seat instead of the air filled seat just in case something went wrong with an air type seat. This is a outstanding value for the money spent and I'm sure it will last for years to come.

Tough as nails! This boat flew out of my truck at 84 miles on Highway 89. Drove back...just scuff marks!

I purchased my Fish Cat 4 several years ago and when it came time to replace the bladders that tore at the seam on the rear end tips recently, I was blown away by the shipping charges to Arkansas - $43.00! The bladders are small, lightweight plastic, but you would think they weigh 30 pounds each for what you're paying for shipping. I attempted to contact Outcast through email, but the emails were undeliverable, I then attempted to reach the 800 number for customer service, but got some other business. I was finally able to contact them through "their" retail store number listed on the site, which isn't their actual number. That number is for a Kayak store, which is affiliated with Outcast, but I was eventually transferred and spoke with ONE of the TWO people who work at Outcast. I aired out my grievance about the shipping cost and his response was, basically, that they don't sell a whole lot of tubes, so they have to make up the money somehow- that's right, by inflating the shipping prices. Needless to say, I'm disappointed and will not be purchasing another Outcast product as it isn't worth it. Imagine paying $43 dollars to have a $55 dollar air bladder shipped to you within the lower 50 states.

We own three... I have been a tube flyfisher for over 40 years.... started out on "Insuldry" tunes from Oregon... great tunes for the era.... however, these Fishcats are so much easier to get in and out of... so comfortable to fish out of... I have a physical condition that I thought would never allow me the opportunity to fish like this ever again..... Thank you Fishcraft.. Thank you!

The Fish Cat 4 is a well designed and constructed float tube. I have been able to carry it back to a remote lake for fly fishing. You sit high above the water and the surface is clean, nothing there to tangle with your line. It seems quite durable, hopefully carrying me for the next few year.

Last one lasted 17 years. I purchased the one with foam seat so I can stuff bottom of my bass rods under it to hold them up. No one in the south knows what these are but I can get around with ease in any lake in Texas that doesn’t have gators. Stealthy approach and much cheaper than a 100k bass boat

This is my second fish cat4 I still have my first one but wanted a spair one. I have had my other fishcat for about 20 years and have used it a lot over the years. It still works great and my Brother just bought one also. I recommend it highly.
