Steve and Todd absolutely nail it in this short, but comprehensive book detailing the untold facts about this virus. These are facts that are easily found with simple research and laid to bear. Studies performed by accredited universities and renowned epidemiologists, various institutes for health and/or medicine, etc. are cited.To this day the CDC's own website still says masks had "no significant reduction in influenza transmission" and that their "systematic review found no significant effect of face masks on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza." And yet we're told by the CDC to mask up. Study after study has shown there is little to no asymptomatic spread, yet this is why we're told to mask. All of this and MORE is outlined in the book.This is a must read for EVERYONE - particularly those who have always asked questions of their government in the past, but suddenly stopped asking with our government's response to the Wuhan Coronavirus and just bowed at the altar of the very experts they had always previously questioned.

This book is written in very approachable language, sometimes formal and sometimes casual, in a way that effectively gets the authors' point across to a wide variety of readers. The authors do not question expert scientific opinion with unsubstantiated claims, as some reviewers suggest. They present the opposing viewpoints, in studies published by equally expert minds as those who are currently controlling public policies. An important point about this book is that the premise of the authors is not one that requires a degree in immunology, molecular biology or epidemiology. The premise that lockdowns and universal mask mandates may not be a good public policy and may actually cause harm, is one that requires only common sense and an understanding of scientific method. Expertise in infectious disease, molecular biology and epidemiology enables one to understand the details of how viruses spread, infect cells, what different viral proteins do, how the virus replicates, what the physiological responses are to a virus and how that leads to symptoms. In the case of epidemiology, expertise allows you to understand the math behind the modeling. All of that expertise helps when reading technical science journal articles, but make one no more qualified to assess whether a hypothesis is falsifiable, to tell the difference between a model and a study reporting actual data, or to understand the difference between died "with" vs died "of" a given disease. The authors completely stay in their lane as they write this book. They cite studies with real time data on cases and deaths, and they cite the models and model system studies that were used to defend the lockdowns and masks. They conclude that there are more data that refute the models initially used than there are data to support them. As a scientist, with expertise in molecular biology and airway inflammation, I would agree with their conclusion. They point out inconsistencies and ask why these were never reconciled. A prime example of this is Fauci stating that asymptomatic spread doesn't drive pandemics and then insisting that asymptomatic spread was a major factor in this pandemic without any data to support this change of paradigm. That is a valid question and one that almost no one is asking, except for the authors. Sometimes, a clear-thinking, analytical individual such as Steve Deace can see flaws in logic that those enamored of their own expertise and married to their own scientific dogma, cannot see. This is why the world needs someone like this to summarize what is known and what is not known, someone without an agenda. This is why you need to read this book.

In a society taken over with fear and panic, this book shines as a counter to all you’ve heard from those in power, and they back up every word they say. If you’re curious about the truth behind the way this whole pandemic was handled, or how it may have been forced into being an utter catastrophe, this book has the factual information to help you to draw your own conclusions. Just know you might not like all of those conclusions, at least you’ll be dealing with the truth, so you can move on from the narrative.If you’re not a listener to the Steve Deace Show, much of this information may be new to you. If you have been listening to the show over the past year and I suggest buying and reading this book. If you have been listening to Deace, Erzen and McIntire every day, little of the information will be new for you, and you should buy multiple copies of this book as gifts - but you might as well take an evening and read it yourself as well.The only semi-strange but entertaining part for listeners to the show will be listening to the audio book, hearing Aaron speak the expressions that are usually uttered by Steve and Todd.The care that went into this book, in documenting the truth and the variance from it that those who have crafted the narrative took from it will shock the people who put their full faith and trust in the government. I suppose I should give those people some sort of a trigger warning.Nah.If a book like this triggers you, you probably need it.And if you can read this book and think that Anthony Fasci... sorry, Anthony Fauci, most members of the media and the people who make up the Congress of the United States have your best interests at heart, then you have the right to be wrong.

I listened to Steve Deace's programs during COVID and found this book accurately reflected his research, and I checked his sources: they all panned out and I dug into others not provided any other way than through the book--and they all proved true. This is one of the few conspiracies' in American history that was very easy to prove--even my April of 2020--if people were following Dr. Jay Batacharya's and Scott Atlas's research out of Stanford. These two mean were unjustifiably villanized and should have sued all those leveling false accusations at them for slander and libel, as they were 100% right starting in March and proved right all the way through by simply following the facts, the REAL science, proven immunological concepts and how to do studies the proven, empirical way. A must-read book!
