As others have said . There is no way these are 400N/90lb . Mine were locked SOLID ! The struts were bending rather than compressing . ZERO movement . Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control by the time I was able to test/fit them the return window had passed . Personally I would look elsewhere and pay heed to the reviews .

There is no manual! Doesn’t seem to have a pressure release nut, so it doesn’t close, any help from sell would be much appreciated

Virtually useless. Won't compress even with a 20 stone bloke leaning on them. No instructions with product.
