.58 Cal. Union Minie Ball Civil War Bullet Replica

Just what I wanted for a Civil War lesson! When I put the micrometer on it, it measured out precisely .58 inches, just like the real Minie ball! The hollow base and lubrication rings are just like the real thing, too. (The only difference from the real thing is that it's not lead and is a tad too shiny.)

More like a toy bullet than a replica. Might be useful for teaching young people about it. However, it lacks the mass, texture and appearance of a real minie ball.
