Truvia Sweet Complete Brown Sweetener

This is the ONLY sweetener that I have been able to find that does not have any sort of aftertaste. Because I am pre-diabetic, I need to avoid regular sugar as much as possible. For a southern baker, that is very difficult. Instead, I reach for this alternative and use it for absolutely everything from sauces to smoothies. I felt that the price was very reasonable when compared to other sweeteners and it isn't cloyingly sweet either. This has been a nice resource in my weightloss arsenal, especially when it comes to sweets. Just whip up a little cottage cheese with fresh fruit, add a sprinkle of this sweetener and Voila!

I actually give this product 1 star. It’s listed as 5 star so you’ll be more likely to read it. This junk is worthless. The price is right but this product is a zero flavor mess and you need to use a lot just to get any sweetness. I went through it within 5 days because I had to use HUGE SCOOPS in one glass of ice tea so that means 6-7 big scoops in a pitcher. DO NOT BUY! Get the Splenda in the plastic container instead. It’s a much better deal and actually tastes sweet using just a tiny amount!

Worked lovely in making cookies for my family. The sweetener is great for diabetics and those wanting to cut back on calories. It also tastes good.

Ha, I went thru a Christmas longing for sweets which are of course forbidden to me for the rest of my life. I swept thru the supermarket picking up every brand and flavor of alternative sweeteners I could find. Since I've been advised to stay away from saccharine, aspartame and sucralose, that narrowed the field quite a bit. Even out of all the other Truvia's this one stood out as the most sugar-like. Some of the others were reasonably sweet like sugar but somebody had diluted the sweetener too much and it took more product (that is allegedly a million times sweeter than sugar) so you needed double the amount to get comparable sugar sweetness The nice part about the granulated product is it doesn't pick humidity as much as the powder. It's more expensive than it's competitors but that's for a reason. It tastes better and little goes a long way. Uh, 32 oz of this product is a lot. Since I'm only using about two teaspoons a day... it's going to be awhile. The bag is one of those near indestructible plastic ziploc thingys. While it's the most protective packaging it's clear that it's far and away the best ziplock bags on the planet. Sure wish I could think of a good way to reuse them. (massive fit of environmental guilt here) I should warn you I haven't eaten sugar in 10 years. It is difficult for me to detect the bitterness from any of the alternative sweeteners. It's most distinctive if I use very little sweetener. However if you pile the stuff on, the sweetness will drown out the bitterness for any of these products. I just don't like it that sweet.

Amazingly similar to regular brown sugar. I tasted this straight from the bag, and it's like the real thing. Minus 1 star as the resealable bag is terrible. It won't close. I had to shove the entire bag in a zipper quart bag. I used it in beef teriyaki and it added just enough sweetness to my sauce.

This is such a better deal than you can find anywhere else. I stocked up on this for baking and daily sugar use. I think Truvia has the best flavor with no aftertaste. Other sugar substitutes with a Stevia content blend tend to taste a bit chemically. This doesn't have that and most people can't tell I used Stevia. I started using this to bake for my neighbor who has blood sugar issues. It works so well as a one to one substitute for sugar in every recipe I have made. I will say that you need to realize it will react different with other ingredients in different ways when it comes to browning. But it tastes and smells like powdered or finely ground sugar. Overall, I like using it to limit my household's sugar intake and only wish they came in bigger bags.

Perfect, and a great price

We love this sugar. It is far better tasting than the white sugar version which has a terrible aftertaste. For some reason the brown sugar is a far superior product than the white version. I'll continue to buy this as long as they make it. I wish they sold it in bigger bags!

Probably the best alternative to brown sugar on the market! A great substitute and helps me manage my diet.

I love this so much. Yummy, no after taste. Have used it making psmf bread. If your keto/carnivore, diabetic or just watching your weight it's worth trying.
