Family Magnetic Calendar and Chore Chart Set - 11x17 - Dry Erase Whiteboard for Planning Boards, Cleaning Schedule, and Chore Calendar - Perfect for Fridge or Kitchen

Two magnetic charts. One set up as a week and the other set up as anything you need it to chart. Absolutely clear, nothing unnecessary, totally flexible to set myself up for success. I'm using my calendar for upcoming plans, and the open option for some specific goals - things I want to do every single day I wrote down the sides, and M-F across the top, and I just give myself a colorful little star when I do each thing. If I get all stars in all the boxes across a day, I get a treat. I haven't accomplished enough to make it through a consistent week, yet, but this chart helps me to "return to focus" even if I am feeling a little out of it, or like I don't feel like being focused today. The things on my chart are habits I want to develop and make automatic that will lengthen and improve my life, like walking, eating vegetables, eating in, and not eating straight sugar (foods that are mostly sugar of some kind, like candy bars and soda). I find that there are things I make sure happen every single day. None of them are good for me, but I make sure they happen. Do I not have some control over what I do? This little magnified chart on the fridge is my timekeeper, my "reset" button, my scorecard in real time - not in my mind, where so many things seem to go right off the beaten path straight into a ditch, but in black and white, objective, unassuming, nonjudgmental. I didn't know exactly what to expect when I ordered them, but they seemed along the right lines of what I was looking for. When I unrolled them and put them on the fridge, I realized they didn't have to be anything, because what they are allows me to make them exactly what I need. I have made one slight adjustment - I am using wet-erase pens instead of dry-erase. It's slightly more difficult and messy to erase wet-erase, so I am less likely to just swipe off data I don't like, and it cuts down on accidental erasures. I can't say enough about how absolutely useable these are, and how simple and clean they are. I am buying another set for work, as I mentioned above, because I think they will help with the same things there - focus, keeping the most important things in mind and doing the most important things first and foremost, etc. etc. Lovely product!

I love the chart. We use it as a "get ready " chart for my 7 year old. The only complaint that I have are the markers. They are very dry. I ordered this for my 6-year-old, because I'm trying to encourage him to have a better attitude, help out more, and really just help make my life a little easier as a single mom lol. I do believe in having a lot of positive reinforcement, so I think this is nice to have out. You have two separate large magnets that you draw on. One is the month itself and the other one you can write in all the goals or events for each day. I filled up all the daily goals that I want him to do and alternated colors so it looks nice. The other one I put in all the days of the month, and then we are tracking when he has a perfect score to see his "stats" at the end of the month. I really like it, however, every marker had its magnet fall out so they all were on the floor except one and I haven't even had it a week yet. So, whatever adhesive was used to stick the magnets to the markers it clearly is faulty. I will find some glue and figure it out since I want the markers to be next to the list so my son can check things off. I understand sometimes things happen and a big batch could have some faulty glue so hopefully they figure it out in the future.

If you are anything like me … well then you been tryna get your life together. Let me just say I am not new to a chore chart … however I am reintroducing it to my kids now that they are a little older, instead of me yelling for help. I give them very little allowance for the stuff they should be doing but incentive is incentive people😊. I love the magnets their strong and very durable. There’s a cute eraser that is also a magnet. At first I thought the markers wouldn’t work because they seem very basic but they are bright and the tip leaves things bold.I love it and happy I chose this product!
