Accidental Buy Turned Into My Favorite Edge Paint
Historically I have hated working with edge paints because they are usually messy streaky and a total pain to get right. When I ordered this I thought it was a dye and when I opened it to my disappointment I realized it was edge paint. I almost tossed it on the shelf but figured I already bought it so I might as well try it. To my surprise it actually worked better than any edge paint I have ever used. It goes on smooth dries quickly and does not leave me fighting with clumps or streaks. Once it sets it sands easily and polishes up with a really nice semi gloss finish that looks like I put way more effort into it than I actually did.The color is strong the coverage is consistent and it flexes well without cracking. I was not expecting to be impressed but now this has become my go to edge paint. What started as me accidentally buying the wrong thing has turned into a product I will probably stick with as my only option moving forward. If you are tired of edge paints being a battle this is one that actually makes the process enjoyable.Ps. I'm far from a pro when it comes to edge painting. So my picture doesn't do it justice.

Very effective and durable
I’ve now used the black and tan from this brand and had great success. The black was applied to leather purse handles after the original finish started peeling off. The purse gets daily use and the new edging has held up. I bought the tan for a similar repair to a leather Apple Watch band. The watch is worn daily and now looks completely refreshed. I highly recommend this product , I just wish I could buy it in much smaller sizes.

Not as nice as the original but it works
I used this to repair a leather strap that lost its original coating. It’s definitely very very thin, does not cover up imperfections very well, but it works well on a surface that is prepped perfectly. For the price, I’m satisfied

This comes in a variety of colors and looks good.
I am using this to repair the edges on two leather purse handles, Tignanello and Lis Clairborne.I am using a very small chisel tip paint brush and thin coats. It seem to take many many many coats 15-25? to build up to the same "height" as the original coating. But I am new at it and did notFind any tips included with the bottle. Also it is important to trim away any loose threads and if possible use a fine small blade to bevelThe edge of the remaining edging before you add the new. Keep a damp q-tip handy for immediate clean up. Acetone will remove accidents BUT will also remove some color/ dye from your leather item. Taping the edge with low tack tape may work best. I have ordered black and dark brown. Paint brushes wash clean with soap and water ( wipe the excess of first on a paper towel) . I am going to guess the colorsCan be mixed to achieve a closer match to assorted edgings on other purses I have. I'll update if this is incorrect. It is slightly shiner than the original edging. Overall it matches well and this is not noticeable. I have salvaged two excellent leather handbags and I am pleased. For some bags it may be better to remove all of the ragged edge coating and just start fresh , it may be far less work. I welcome any expertComments on better application and usage.

Great stuff!
I bought a Disney Her Universe bag from a Hot Topic and it was obvious that the bag had been handled by a lot of people because there were frayed threads on the sides and some scuffs on the edges. I didn't think this was anything that I couldn't fix.So, I used some bent needle nose tweezers and stuffed the threads back in, then used Edge Kote to get in-between the allowance of the sandwiched pleather pieces. After a few layers, I topped the edges and cleaned up the scuffs. It looks like the fix was supposed to be like this. It looks great. Clean-up was easy too.I bought it here because I also bought a tool to help with this endeavor. You can buy this stuff directly from the manufacturer for less money.
