MSC International Joie No Spill Covered Ice Cube Tray with Lid, BPA-Free Plastic, 14-Cubes

I wish I could give this ten stars because it's simply the best covered ice tray on the market. Silicone models are flimsy, and the tops don't snap in place tightly. That means you have to be extra careful when moving them to the freezer, and you can't move them around until the cubes are frozen. This Jolie "no spill" ice tray is rigid instead of flimsy. The top snaps firmly into place, so you can toss it right into the freezer without being extra careful. Best of all, the snap top hole in the center allows you to fill the tray without opening the whole thing. There was only one tray available when I ordered, so here I am, coming back to order a few more trays. Seriously, get at least four of these things. Ice problems solved forever! In the last few years, I purchased three ice making machines. One broke in under two years. The second one malfunctioned right away, leaking a ton of water on my counter. Next, I tried to purchase a hand held ice wizard with a turn top and found that it leaked all over my counter. Hundreds of bad reviews from angry customers showed they had the same problem. I've been trying to solve my ice making problems ever since the ice maker on my fridge broke ten years ago. I've been almost a decade without a reliable ice making method that's better than standard trays. Don't spend a fortune on different ice making solutions. Get these snap top trays and settle the problem once and for all.

I bought this for our granddaughter so she can make babyhood for her son. I wish I had had one of these back in the 70's when I was making baby food for my own children. It's easy to use and makes life simpler. I would recommend this as a gift, along with a baby food grinder and some bibs for a new mom.

The ice tray came with a cover which allows for Less spills. Ice cubes come out easily

Easy to use, having a lid on them makes them stackable which saves space in an already over crowded freezer. Being that they have lids also means no more water drips across the floor. Love them. I haven't bought bagged ice since I got them. Very please with my purchase. If I had bigger freezer I would definitely get more.

I hoped this world be more marvelous than it is. It's ok. The top opens for easy filling, that's true. But then it's also very easy to over fill it, and then the ice is in such a thick layer, you can't break the individual cubes apart. It's definitely not awful. Just a missed opportunity to be amazing.

Works as well as described. No spills to the freezer and cubes dislodge easily. I purchased the first one at Whole Foods to replace a similar style that didn’t work well. Cubes are a pretty standard size and filling is so easy. I wasn’t disappointed (again).

Remember those ice trays your mother had growing up - they'd last forever. This tray, however, is not that product. We've gone through two of these in less than six months each. Their lid starts cracking before the tray, but the tray is simply is not made from flexible enough plastic to withstand the little bit of twisting required to get the cubes out. And don't wack it on a hard surface - that eventually fracture the bottoms.

The ice cube sections are not even, as in my other ice cube trays. So if it is important that your cubes have the same amount of liquid frozen in each, this might not be for you. Outside of that, I love that the tray is plastic, not silicone. We have a plastic set that has lasted over 20 years, so we expect these to be very durable! One added note, it is easier to fill the sections and gently put on the larger lid. We found that when you try to snap close the center (smaller) top, it takes some effort and force, and that causes the tray to spill.

I really like this design, covers keeps ice fresh. My daughter just loves them !

Would prefer to be able to choose colour, rather than random shipping.

The tray itself isn’t flexible for removing ice. These TYPE OF RIGID LOCKING LIDS NEVER WORK. Can’t even put lid on and certainly can’t lock it either Stop making these lids for anything.

Love this product. Trays do not leak. Ice cubes and trays remain odourless.
