I see so many comments on here about the lights not coming on. YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE SMALL PIECE OF PAPER UNDER THE BATTERIES OR THEY WON'T TURN ON. I wouldn't recommend keeping these in water all the time unless you really screw the bottom on tight. To turn off, flip one of the batteries the opposite direction. I have these floating in a bird bath so I have easy access to turn on/off. It's going to be a bit of a hassle to do this if you float these in a pond or pool. Still very pretty and ok for the cost.

Highly recommend a bike pump or any electric pump. Love them but to hard blowing up without a pump. Took them to the gas station and pumped them up really fast.

The quality of these lily pads is not bad at all, problem is they don't light up. The first night they all lit up and turn different colors, really quite pretty, the second night only two came on, next night only one came on, after that none are working in spite of being in the sun all day till sundown. Disappointed

These are pretty in daylight but the lights are hot bright. You could barely see them in the pool and the batteries burned out within a few hours. We ended up lighting tea lights and letting those float in the pool. The tea lights were a lot more bright and really lit the water. These were a waste of money for poor design. They are also foam texture so they will not hold up in sunlight either.
