The side and strap are orange and there some really nice hand-stitched flowers and butterfly overlaying a razor cut rainbow shape on the front. The front colors are pink, teal and light purple. The material is a medium weight cotton, not heavy weight, but not super thin. The front has a squared off shape and tapers out at the bottom for more room. The sling bag measures 33" from top to bottom and the shoulder strap hangs down about 20 Inches. The shoulder strap is nice and wide at 3.5". The longer shoulder strap allows the bag to be worn across the body. The main compartment does have a zip closure and there is one open pocket on the inside.
