Very good brush for us old fashioned folks. Never really liked the canned foam method. Fluffing up the foam with swirling brush strokes was always the highlight of shaving experience. This brush does it really well. Pros: - Holds water well without dripping - Good stiffness/flexibility balance in the hair - Grip is good and smooth, easy to clean - Works up lather very quickly Cons - Shedding hair still, after few weeks - Some moisture stays even after shaken dry

For the price it offers immense value...The bristles are soft on the skin and it binds with the lather efficiently offering a smooth application on the skin....Kindly go for this if you're looking for one!!! You won't regret!!!

This brush is Great! If any of you have been looking for a "Barbershop" brand shaving brush from the Franklin Toiletry company back in the 1980s, this is a great replacement. True, it is made with synthetic hair and a plastic base but for the price...what do you expect? The point is that it is a soft bristle that lathers up (I use a shaving cream) very thick. I don't know how long it will last so I bought anther to hold in reserve. I know the aficionados out there will pooh pooh my review but trust me...this brush will make you smile.
