This unit is made by Bobrick and they all use their key CAT74

Q: does this hold standard size paper towels? what is that size?

Yes, you want C Fold paper towels from your restaurant/janitorial supply house. Dimensions: 3-3/4" x 10-1/8" folded, 13" x 10-1/8" open.

We use m-fold (multi-fold), 1 ply, 9.2 in x 9.4 in (23.3 cm x 23.8cm). They only sell this one size at both our Costco and Sam's Clubs and that where we get them. I didn't know they came in different sizes.
