Best tea kettle ever!
Sleek, quiet, fast, big volume, and super easy to clean. I own two! Expensive but worth every penny. Used 2x per day, owned for 3 years already.

Nice quality, works well, heats my water very quickly. I have had it now for a year and I have never had a problem with it. Very reliable.

Excellent and safe electric kettle !
We love this electric kettle!! Our old electric kettle broke down, it wasn’t an easy task to find a new kettle. After 3 tries with other kettles which we returned because of different problems with products, I choose Zwilling product even though it was over my wife’s budget. I choose the simple model with no temperature controls and that was the best $$ spent. This kettle is the safest electric kettle, even it’s body is real cool to touch when water boils. It’s safe for children or elderly. Water boils quickly about 2 to 4 minutes depending on how much you fill. There is NO plastic parts that touch water, the removable filter is stainless steel. Some reviewers said that they found rust buildup after use. Not in my case, I had it for more than a month and all I found a bit of calcium buildup after a month. Cleaned it as recommended by manufacturer with vinegar and the stainless steel looks like I just took it out from the box. The kettle is not lightweight, it’s approx. 2.8 pounds. It’s no problem for me, my wife or children but my mother in law has to use two hands due to arthritis. Overall it’s a GREAT PRODUCT! Absence of temperature controls is no problem because we drink mostly black tea. And when I drink green/herbal teas just use a thermometer. Next time will choose temperature control Zwilling.

Sleek good looks, functional,
Very neat and sleek looking kettle. Boils water well. Holds a good amount of water and is easy to use. Heats up quickly. Functionality is good. Only downside is there’s a plastic piece at the spout / opening which is flimsy.

Simple Function, Clean Design, Cool Touch
If you're looking for a kettle with a clean design and appearance to simply boil water and stay cool on the outside, this is one for you. If you're looking for specific temp controls and additional features, Zwilling has a different model available. Heats water quickly. I like how it does not spout mass quantities of steam as it approaches and reaches boiling point, as my previous kettle did. One piece stainless interior easy to clean. The black plastic lid and handle will show off finger or hand marks more than the silver model, if that's a concern. Overall I'm very happy with the kettle. Used multiple times daily for about a month, will see how long it lasts.

Wow - Fast! Easy to clean.
Everyone we know uses electric kettles and we like iced tea (made with hot water, not sun tea) so we got this to help that. So much faster than any other option we have for boiling 6 cups of water - the amount of hot water for the Cook's Illustrated recipe for Iced Tea that we use and like. It's a game changer! Like I think all kettles it's pretty easy to use - fill with water and hit the button. Inside is all stainless steel and the lid opens up enough to get your hand in there and use stainless steel cleaner on the bottom. I like Bar Keepers Friend Superior Cookware Cleanser & Polish (not the regular Bar Keepers Friend stuff, BTW) for my stainless pots and pans and it works just fine with this kettle.

Der gelieferte Wasserkocher ist für Europa ungeeignet. Für den amerikanischen Stecker hätte man vielleicht noch einen Adapter gekriegt. Das gelieferte Gerät ist aber nur für 120 V ausgelegt!!!!

This is a beautiful product but arrived with an American plug!! Not very useful for the UK. I have reported it and it will be returned, however there has been no help or instructions to order again with the correct plug.

Since I use my tea kettle every day, I decided to buy a quality kettle that would last for many years. The Zwilling Cool Touch kettle was exactly what I wanted! Since another buyer’s comment had mentioned the possibility of rust developing around the lid, I made sure that I emptied the kettle completely and left the lid up to allow the vapour out and the kettle to dry out after each use. After I used it two times, I noticed little black specks on the inside bottom. I contacted Zwilling and was told that rust can be removed with baking soda and warm water solution/vinegar. I cleaned the kettle as instructed, and the black specks disappeared. However, they were back again after two uses. I contacted Zwilling again and was told that “hard water causes these stains to occur and build up.” The population of Saskatoon is about 337,000. The tapwater has a hardness of approximately 160 mg/L. Looking on the Internet, it says that for water softeners, a good hardness level should not be higher than 120 to 170 mg/ L. Therefore, Saskatoon‘s water hardness is already within the parameters that someone would set on their water softener. In addition, the water that I was using was filtered through my fridge. I do not have any problems in my home with hard water, nor do I know of anyone else who has. If a city with a population of 337,000 had problems with hard water, I think that it would be widely known and the issue would be dealt with. I did not have any black specks appearing on the bottom of my previous metal tea kettle. In their second email, Zwilling told me that I should use the following method to maintain the cleanliness of my kettle: “You can do this by half filling the kettle with water, adding 2 tablespoons of vinegar to each pint, and leaving it for four hours. Then empty the kettle and remove the loosen scale. Rinse and repeat as necessary.” So, for the life of the kettle, I am going to have to purchase vinegar and spend time cleaning the kettle. If the dark specks already appear after two uses, I don’t know what this means in terms of how often I will have to keep cleaning it. I am so disappointed in my purchase. I spent more than I usually would and was expecting a quality product that I could use for many years. I am sorry that I ever purchased this kettle and disappointed that I believed the Zwilling brand name meant quality and backing their product.

My favorite kettle. However be careful holding too close to top as steam will hurt you. It likes fingerprints on the top and handle - missed opportunity toake the kettle matte imo There were small parts inside that started to rust but cleared with vinegar.

What I like the most is the seamless stainless steel inside and the same for the inside of the lid. No deposits from water etc can get trapped inside. Smooth as stainless steel pots and pans. Very high quality compared to other makes. Owned the so called stainless steel and glass kettles under $100 which will rust over little use and sometimes the first use. The inside might develop mineral residue over time depending on the water used but this will clean up much easier than others because of seamless quality stainless steel. The switch lights up and feels like quality...not long like other switches which can get damage if banged etc. I called the Canadian company and spoke to a warranty rep. Seems easy enough to file a warranty claim if you call them first to tell them the problem. Nice to actually talk to a person unlike some other companies. That's a major plus as is the 5yr warranty so they must believe this will last without issues. Made in china but then again what isn't. The outer casing doesn't get hot because it's double walled. Another plus. I will update this review if problems arise but for now I like what I see and it heats up far faster when full then any other 1500watt kettle I've owned. UPDATE top lid cover cracked for no reason, always carefully handled and the inside lid filter screen fell off...again no reason. Over time the inside bottom scaling becomes visble after every use and needs vinegar to clean it up. It still works fine but not worth the money Update avoid the stainless steel inside started getting rust spots. No matter how many times I clean it properly and with vinegar and a stainless steel cleaner they appear soon after. The 5yr warranty is a joke. Impossible to get honored. Spend less and get better quality
